Carter has taken her team to state every year in the brutal 8AA district, she is more than deserving. Hurst plays AAU ball with both Penland and Rutherford. I would venture to say they all are happy for each other. Heck private message thier east tenn AAU coach you probably can go watch them practice together in few weeks, and you can satisfy your appetite. and you also will get to see Fritz, AAA finalist..

Don't start the dillusional B.S,this is the best AA district in the state, with some of the best players throughout ,best coaches through out, another great game as they all are.

You are trying to ride the fence,Miller is the best of the 4 ,no debating.. her D 1 offers are proof ,these college coaches aren't idiots, (as some posters think,dont sleep on so and so,etc.. get so tired on twitter etc..)The twins are great high school players period. Capps is a great hs player and will be niche player and will be role player at D 1 GW, Miller will be a dominate starter at Belmont eventually .

Ryne Howard looked like a million dollars physique wise,but I never got the just wow factor in high school from her ,she found the right coach and system and has definitely flourished, to me Erica Haynes Overton stood out her all around game was very polished in high school.It comes down to right fit and some kids will flourish around lesser tallent ,then others will with greater talent around them.

Can Westview beat Macon? Some of you have seen them both, I have not seen WV.

Being able to shoot off the dribble, getting to the rim ,jump shots ,3 pointers all off the dribble, and in today's game long,length arm span etc, if you ain't got that better be cat quick with handles and be able to shoot lights out. and also college coaches are looking at ball shootin release location, if you push the ball say from chest or forward nope your shot will get block ed at next level want a flick high effortless release point and elevation cause will be shootin more under pressure.

If you have 3 sec players on your team in same grade,then Greenfield should have 4 consecutive state championship s or the coach needs to be fired.

E TN is hard to gauge. but I think Grainger may be #2 in AA. If they have some length and about 3 cat quick, fearless guards they may have a shot.

save this same paragraph for next year and we can just remove Levy name and put Carter name in there . Upperman has good players and Macon has good players,high school sports fluctuates , Levy was surrounded by a great group of players(they gone now ) as is Carter. This is the same Macon team ,this is not the same Uhs team. Macon is more seasoned and this year they have more weapons no doubt.

it's sad when the kids (players)suffer from unfair grudges (calls )refs have against coaches. and might add the assigning head ref influence who gets assigned. Refs make a difference in games and need to leave personal grudges outside the gym.

Think Upperman won 18 in a row. Macon may do it sweep but bout gaurantee Macon won't win 18 in a row.

If Uhs can stay out of foul trouble and make high % shots,they have a chance. Uhs will have to play a great game and Macon a mediocre game to have a chance ,I say Macon pulls away late by 10 +at home.

Most know defense and White County is like oil and water. Stone is a different animal. Good luck.
