White Co beats Jackson Co girls in an ugly game . Girls need to turn it around starting at Cookeville tuesday night . Team seems to be going the wrong way at tourney time . Play defense , take care of the ball and rebound . Then everything will come together .

Bad night for the Warriors . Team after having decent game against Warren played badly against Stone . Stone beat us with the three pointer and we never did guard it . Can't stay in any game if you can't defend . Hope it was a good lesson .

White Co gets beat by 30 or so against Stone . Right now our half court defense is missing in action . If our defense doesn't improve , may be an early exit in district tournament . Next few games will tell the tell .

White Co lost a tough game to Warren Co last night leading by 12 with four minutes to go . This is the same White Co team that got killed by Rhea Co last game . Even in loss to Warren Co , saw a team grow up last night . Now have to learn how to close . Hold your heads up Warriors , good times are coming .

White Co comes back from 16 down to a much improved Warren Co team . Big girl got into foul trouble and changed the game . White Co really needed this game to stay in the district race . By the way , Cookeviile comes from 18 down to beat Stone and throws district into a race .

White Co loses to Rhea Co 90 to 64 . Maybe the first time ever to see 90 points scored against a White Co girls team . Rhea Co shot the ball well from outside to inside . Our defense was as bad as you can play . Every player on Rhea Co beat us off the dribble . You can shot bad , pass bad , but defense will always keep you in it . Hope this was a bad dream as we have 3 tough games next week . Don't get down Warriorettes , get better .

White Co beats not very good Cookeville team . Both teams turned it over 25 to 30 times. Ugly game to watch , but i guess a win is a win . And the band played on .

Cumberland Co plays at White Co tonight . Last meeting was over early as Cumberland Co forced 31 turnovers . Their 2 2 1 press was very effective . White Co has good enough players to handle a press . Just have to play smarter . Cumberland Co forced 31 turnovers . Next game , Mcminn Co caused 30 turnovers with the same press . Surely we have learned from these two games . Good luck girls .

Warrior Grant Slatten took one of the hardest hits i have ever seen in high school basketball . Warriors will not replace him and make it a much harder season . Praying for Grant , Bruce , and Beth .

Warriorettes lose to Clarkrange by 17 in finals of Sonic Shoot-out . Sparta has some good players , just can't seem to handle the ball . We have to work on our passing or we will lose to a good team everytime . Turner girl best player on the floor last night . Played good defense on one their big girls , rebounded the ball well , and made no turnovers . Look for her to get more playing time .

Bet Cumberland Co coach had to set down instead of prancing around . Never thought score could be like that . If Stone plays like that , nobody in district gives them a game .

Sorry to see all the good girls teams in the same bracket in the Sonic shoot-out . White Co goes to finals without playing a decent team . Just like to see White Co play better teams . Playing good teams only makes you better .

White Co win over McMinn Co by 2 and had 30 turnovers . Guards have got to get better or decent teams will beat us most of the time. Entire team has to pass the ball better and i think they will . We have got to get better against the press . To many good players to let the press get to them . Clarkrange will be our next test . Hope to see much improvement by then .

Stone and White tonight will tell us something about the season . White last 6 games are all wins against bad teams . Stone hasn't played as good as i thought they would . We will find out something tonight .

White Co girls lose to Cumberland Co . Turnovers , bad shooting at the line and the field led to the defeat . May have been our worst game of the season Proud of our girls anyway , they tried and that's all you can ask .

Bradley coach has no control over his players . They are the better team , a shame to see a good team act like that . Copeland's daddy almost lost his cool .

White Co out rebounded in the first half 24-7 . Wasn't much better in the second half . Never seen a team get beat like that on the glass and still win . Our pressure hurt them in the 4th quarter . Any win on the road is a good win . And the band played on .
