Currently photographer and writer with The Chattanoogan.com. Former sports writer, news reporter and columnist with The Chattanooga News-Free Press and The Catoosa County (Ga.) News. Retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1998 following 20 years of active duty service, working in intelligence and communications. Also worked as the Manager of the Chattanooga Police Department's Information Center and as the Operations Director for the Hamilton County (TN) 9-11 Center.

Began my photography career as the chief photographer for my high school yearbook (Rossville (Ga.) High School in 1972.

I shoot mainly sports (high school, University of Tennessee and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga , but also enjoy shooting family settings, nature and random people scenes.
