Ok, this thread needs to be about the game, but I need to get this out. The disrespect that Summertown High School has received is purely dispicable. The Eagles flip flopped their record from 2-8 in their very FIRST year to 8-2 and playoff birth in their second year. The offense has gone from averaging 11 points a game last season to 32 points a game. Chase Mote has 1116 rushing yards and 21 total touchdown and has 127 tackles. Yet not much is said other than in Lawrence County. How many other teams do you see in a BRAND NEW program winning 8 games and making the playoff. That being said let's talk about the match up. Whitwell is 5-5 and 2nd in their region. Summertown is 8-2 and 3rd in their region. Who wins?

I gotta know? If Summertown couldn't stop CA in the second half, why is it that CA only scored 9 points. As to it being CA making mistakes, your pretty good at placing blame on kids. How old are you? You are on here talking about kids. Hey you know what, Mason Williams is really good at this game. His brother Jackson, he is as well. I played D-Line, so I naturally pay attention to D-Line. Columbia Academy didn't struggle with blocking because they just couldn't hold their blocks. Summertown is well coached. I was right below the D-Line coach. He does a great job. Strategy and effort from those boys is what hurt your running game. You took over rushing in the 2nd half because of your stable of backs. You had much better depth. That's ok though. We are the 2nd year program that forced the TN associated Press #8 to kick a field goal with 52 seconds remaining in the game. It's pretty crappy that you don't give these teenage kids credit and then downgrade the players your supposed to support.

Just want to address this post. This is what I do for a living. CA 5 penalty 40 yards. Summertown 8 penalty 60 yards. Don't make excuses.

That fan was me, never mentioned how the game would play out, but I'm sure if I had, Mr Rudy would had allowed it to go in one ear and out the other. Dude you have serious problems.
