I think the choice is Coach Cruse from Ripley if he's interested. He's a proven head coach and would be great for the job plus he's been there before so he knows the lay of the land

Is that a joke? McConnell has had 70 points put up on him more than any coach I have ever seen. In no way did he contribute to them winning that gold ball I'm not saying he's a bad coach but don't give credit where it isn't deserved. He was there 2 years before they won it and saw very lackluster success

I personally know Palmer. He's a good dude and a heck of a coach. I would say you guys made out golden with this hire. He's going to do great things with your program. He took a very poor obion county program and made them relevant. 2 playoff appearances for a team that has only had 9 winning season in school history. He's a miracle worker in my opinion

I'm not really sure how a coach that's never won anywhere is considered a great addition. Took a dresden team who consistently won to losing to teams like Greenfield and Gleason consistently. Then did the same at McNairy. Just a head scratcher there. The other 2 I've heard are decent people and good coaches but I'm not sure I'd thank an administration for something you don't know has worked. Might be the undoing ya know? I hope all works out for the program but it just sounds like some daddies were upset and threw their money around to me

Yeah, but with the way you guys replace coaches it's hard to see how the players develop at all. From what I've heard 4 coaches from the staff last year are gone? I could be wrong there but no stability is a bad thing for sure. I wish the best for those kids but I just don't understand all the turnover

The coach from Haywood is a big possiblity runs a great offensive system for simpson and the running back at westview. I'd say he's the best option right now. Him and the Waverly guy

I heard the OC from Crockett was interested. Also heard ward but that might be smoke and fire. If westview hires gleason's coach they deserve what they get in more 2-8 records. Nobody on the staff at westview should get the job. It would be nice if we could get Lifsey out of the VP spot and into the job. Fantastic ball coach

Anyway I'll just go down the line and list accomplishments for these coaches since they suck. Brent Harris is one of the best kickers in Westview history and has been a very successful kicking coach at Dresden and henry county. Also Blake stigall has helped out with this program for several years now and has helped put the offense together every year he has been there and Justin Cruse ran a very successful defense at Dresden which happened to be one of the top defenses in the state. You're what we call a troll. You want nothing but bad things to happen to these people. You have nothing to back up your statements. So just do us all a favor and stop posting

Westtnfootball. These coaches have won every year they've coached. They can't help that even their best players are average. If you blame this on the coaches you're crazy. You can't win in a schedule full of championship contenders with a subpar team. This year is completely on the players
