  2. Any East TN athletes looking to compete in the Best of the Best Duals on 4/15/17 please get in touch with me ASAP as I have already begun putting together the squad. Last year we had several guys get 7-10 matches just by competing on the exhibition mat. If needed, wrestle-offs will be scheduled. Plus warm-up / exhibition mat Weight Classes: 77, 84, 88, 91, 94, 98, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285 Schoolboy, Cadet, and Juniors are all eligible for this event Participants: Teams from West (Memphis), Middle (Nashville, Clarksville, etc.), South (Chattanooga, etc.), and East (Knoxville, Kingsport, Johnson City, etc.) regions are represented. Teams are put together by the region directors for each region. See the list below and contact our region director if you wish to be on a team. Wrestling Starts: 10:00 AM Other Details: · An AAU Officials Certification Clinic will begin at 7AM. · There will be a cap of 200 wrestlers! · Entries must be emailed in by 11/17 at 7:00 PM · Entry Fee $8 per Wrestler · Wrestlers will be grouped by weight and a folder process will be used. · Admission $5 (children 5 and under free) · A continuous 2 minute running clock will be used for middle school and 1.5 minutes for elementary. Only a few spots left: THE EAGLE CHALLENGE SEYMOUR, TN December 10, 2016 Location: Seymour High School, 732 Boyds Creek Hwy, Seymour, TN 37865 Format: Everyone gets at least 4 matches. 4 Pools of 4 teams, then wrestle at least one match out of pool. Top 4 will wrestle a semifinal and then finals for a total of 5 matches. We run 6 mats and move quickly. In 2015, the bottom 12 teams were done wrestling by 4:00pm. The final round for the top 4 teams was concluded by 5:30pm. Team Awards: Awards for Top 4 teams. Outstanding wrestler award voted on by officials/Coaches. Entry fee : $150 payable to "Seymour Wrestling" Checks can be mailed to Seymour High School address above with Attention: Derek Harrison *Each Team needs to supply 1 table worker for each Dual Admission: $ 7.00 adults, $ 3.00 students per day. Under 5yrs old free. There will be wrestler friendly concessions. Weigh-in 8:00-9:00am. Wrestling begins at 9:30am. Coaches Meeting: following weigh-ins · We will make copies of each teams weigh-in sheet, staple them together, and hand out a packet to each team.
