Listen this thread is unbelievable get off of her back. She is a new coach who did not know any of the players. So she had a full tryout for all players. Why not, she had never seen them play. Maybe the coach before just kept the girl for an extra body. She is the coach she has all the right in the world to keep or cut a player if she sees fit. So get off of her back and let her coach the team.

I think that the Lady Cherokees squeak this one out and win by 5 big points. It is just hard in this district to beat a team 3 times. go Lady Cherokees!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I will go ahead and tell you that this mess is because of Bradley, McMinn has been trying to get it changed since last Wed. but Bradley said no. Then Tues. at 12:00 p.m. they had a change of heart and called and wanted it changed. Go figure

Wonder why Bradley decided to move the game to Thursday? I had heard that McMinn wanted it moved to Thurs. last week but Bradley said no. Wonder why the change of heart?

LISTEN HERE BIGDUCKY FIRST OF ALL THE COACH AT MCMINN DID NOT RUN UP THE SCORE ON BRADLEY. THE 2ND AND 3RD STRING WAS IN THE GAME BY THE 2ND QUARTER AND PLAYED THE WHOLE 2ND HALF. SO YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT NOW DO YOU. 2ND THE REASON THAT MCMINN DID NOT PLAY HERITAGE IS BECAUSE THEY CANCELED BEFORE THE YEAR STARTED. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING. 3RD WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD HAVE CAME UP WITH A REGION CHAMIONSHIP IF THE REGION GAMES YOU PLAYED DIDN'T MATTER. I AGREE THAT THERE SHOULD BE SOME SORT OF BI-LAWS SET UP NEXT IN CASE OF TIES.

If the region who the tournament consists of then why would you not play those teams. It should not even be a discussion.

Excuse me but McMinn drilled Oak Ridge 30-20 this year so we already know who should be playing them Saturday. McMinn played every team in the region and was 5-1 in the region not 2-1 that is why they are in the championship!!!! I wish McMinn could play Ooltewah now instead of the first game of the season!!!!!!

Man you must know it all. McMinn does have a lot of good talent coming up next year and will be much better. If you know everything then why don't you try spending every waking hour getting ready for Friday nights like coach Daugherty does. That coaching staff has worked their tales off trying to get this team better. So for you to sit there on your computer and say that this team will not be any better next year is ridiculous. If you don't like this team then don't come to anymore games.

The Freshman Championship game will be this Saturday at 1:00. Oak Ridge @ MCMINN Co. This will be a great game to come see on a Saturday afternoon. The game that these 2 teams played in the regular season was a barn burner. It went into double overtime with the Cherokees getting the win. Come support these 2 freshman teams on Saturday.
