2 of those credits are PE, it has been this way since Kennedy. Many schools only have team sports one semester, so it is more like 26- 28. Think of all the "Study Hall" class we had in the 7 period classes, I haven seen these in block.

A seven period schedule is a year long class, block are semester class. A seven period schedule only allows 7 classes a year, block allows 8. Now what is often overlooked is the down time; 7 periods = 6 class changes (wasting about 40 minutes a day walking to classes) Block = 3 class changes (wasting about 20 minutes). If a kid is going sit in a PE class, you might as well organize it get the team together and get the kids home earlier. The problem come with guidance, some guidance departments do not want to put the time in to make this happen; these are the schools (coaches) that complain.

You do not see the difference in all of the voluntary or self posted information; and a concealed home video camera at an obscure summer league basketball game. I am a teacher and at the beginning of the year every student has to return a signed permission slip saying they child??™s pictures can be posted on the school website etc. I don??™t know anything about newspapers. I think in most cases of misuse it is not a question of is it illegal, but can (or is it worth the time) you identify who did it.

Just so all you haters know, the reason the Mt. Juliet kicks you is because Fryer and the girls work harder than EVERYONE during the year. Not being able to send in a sub in a 40 pt. Don't think they could make a run in AAA. AAA schools have to play AAA schools on a nightly basis, they were probably Manassas' two biggest regular season games of the year, whereas it was the game to overlook by the AAA schools. I don't mean to take anything away from a A school competing with or even winning against a AAA school but unless you see the AAA game on a day to day basis you can not compare.

I thought that Oakland was missing their best post player in that game? I think the WS game will get ugly, but with Red Bank youth and the drop to AA expect to see them back next year with a better showing.

Seems like the Humboldt fans are excited about the challenge and the Manassas fans are complaining about the draw system.
