IMO schedule next year is a lot harder just based on how this year went. Our region will be better than it has been in a very very long time. Plus 5a Franklin, OS (returns everyone), MTCS (loses some), Sequatchie( played some young cats, I think there QB is back), Whitwell ( loses a lot up front I think*, but have QB and RB returning), Chatt prep( will have athletes galore and they weren’t small last year), SC (has a very good coach and you could tell they played a little different than years past).

The QB ran what maybe 5 times all night and made McKenzie look rather mediocre when doing so. The QB was hurt dog. McKenzie could have had 10 more possessions and they would have been lucky to score 7 more points. Lucky we turned the ball over 1st 3 times in second half because we were driving every possession. I think 2 even happened on the other side of the 50 in McKenzie territory and the other one was in our own territory which led to points. Do you read box scores?

The Ensley kid could have easily ran a spread offense. I don’t know many baseball players that can’t throw a football especially if you’re playing outfield for an SEC team lol.

I really don’t know this game will go. Had McKenzie saw anything like SP speed this year ? That goes for offense and defense.

In my opinion. No doubt about it. But getting the monkey off there back last year was huge. Any time a championship is won, it’s hard to put anything above that.

If QB doesn’t play this will be a tall task for the pirates. Why on earth McKenzie would be the underdog is crazy to me. They are going for the repeat and they have even there the last 3 years.

I think Dresden will win. They are the best team to play since the 2016 Dresden team. Dresden has the top 2 teams in 1a in the last 20 years apparently.
