big game for the region over in brentwood.. central comes in with a great offense and needing a win after losing to franklin to face a somewhat struggling ravenwood team.. my prediction says WC- 38 Ravenwood- 21

basically most of the d2aa schools have long bus rides for playoff and region games so theres that and this also goes for other sports not including football... public schools travel as well especially in basketball season.. im saying funding isnt a problem bc like all other large private schools monetary wise catholic is fine, probably more so than d2 schools with the catholic church's backing.. and the reason they sell dough i bc all the funding goes to football haha

how bout you stop using personal experiences to defend a completely unrelated event.. a bus flipping over and a private school choosing to stay public are 2 unrelated events.. i understand how thats bad but maybe it was the drivers fault, or inclement weather.. there are many teams within this state including public schools that travel alot on weekdays and its not a problem so the "travel costs or travel danger" excuse is bs there is no other way around it

who said im a private school hater? if anything i think privates have better everything overall and are better at sports most of the time, but what KC did is downright cowardly.. running from competition like always.. they knew after this szn they wouldnt be as good as this year or last year so they figure out a way to stay public.. disgraceful.. its moves like these that make people hate private schools

ive been there but like you said you guys and teams like trousdale beat them.. so its a feasable thing to say that it can be done bc both of those schools have excellent coaching as does ncs

ok bc you got 2 coaches who either went or previously coached there doesnt mean a connection.. what players are from BA? ik who they are and want to see if you know bc im gonna call your bluff.. this is the typical "my team cant win bc we are a country school" attitude.. get over it public schools recruit just like privates just legally in their case

and btw those kids moved after their 8TH GRADE year.... so its not like those kids were established players that bailed on BA.. maybe its just the fact that your team and coaching sucks and thats why you lost... not that "they are private and are cheating scum" lol grow up... privates that play in 1a-2a really dont have that much of an advantage as the ones that play in higher classifications

you realize that there are plenty of schools in this state that do drive 3hrs or even out of state for bball games in the middle of the week and are fine. and thats including other sports as well its just part of it.. you cant tell me with the church funding behind the school that money would be a problem either... yeah they have problems finding PUBLIC school teams to play them for good reason.. catholic should be able to win state with all the resources they have at that place.. its easy to beat up on the little guys and think you are big but i mean come on... with you playing the carter's and anderson county's of the world then yeah you are good come on now.......

ik the connection of BA to them there were 2 players on the team last year that came from BA and one this year.. one of them was tragically taken from us so by you just throwing that out there like some statement of me bashing kids check yourself buddy.. i have never bashed anyone on here and i have never gotten banned so idk what your talking about on that end

what a croc this is.. catholic is running from competition like they always do.. they wouldnt be able to compete with d2 so they concoct a way to stay in d1... classic tssaa for you.. you cant tell me most of the people at catholic are catholic which means some of them including athletes, are receiving some form of financial aid somehow.. i hope they go to 5a.. this is bs and if i was one of the schools in that region/district i would raise cain about this

what a bush league comment... even if in your eyes there is an "unfair" advantage its still the coaches job to come out and win games.. most of the non d2 school privates for the most part (excluding three schools) arent even good.. maybe its just the fact that your team sucks.. im for them leaving but good lord..

enjoy it while it lasts NCS bc next year its back with the big boys and back to the mediocrity of old.. rooting for gville to pull this one out
