These memphis people are delusional lol. The oakland team you guys beat and everyone labeled as almighty and great blah blah blah, is what a d2 battle is like week after week. Whitehaven and and memphis do not understand this bc there is no cordova, houston, trez, mitchell, white station, etc to play every week. You are playing the best week in and week out for the most part in d2. I mean heck even the not so good d2 squads would have a very good chance of winning state in some public divisions. I just do not understand how you people do no see this. Also, Ik for a fact BA looked long and hard for some quality in state games this offseason and the only schools not scared to play were hillsboro and KC so props to them. All the "6a heavy hitters" tucked tail and ran. Either they do not want to hold an L, or they cant get over stuff that happened 20 years ago. Truth be told Oakland and whitehaven wouldnt have even made the d2 state game bc none of the teams could pass the ball and neither of them played a offense or defense as explosive as MBA, BA, Ensworths, and shoot maybe even not mccallie.

I will say this and leave at this: BA/MBA/Ensworth would absolutely destroy whitehaven every year so Saulsberry should be thanking the lord rn he didnt get the games bc that would losses every year. Whitehaven has never had a team, even the 2012 team, that would ever beat any of those teams on any given year.

this would be a very good job for anybody, however Vaden cannot screw up this hire. She needs to go after a proven head/oc/dc (preferably hc) that can get the kids out. Over the past 2 seasons BA has enjoyed very good success on the gridiron winning back to back titles for the first time since the heralded 95-96 squads. This year was definitely an interesting year and different than the previous one. In 2015 BA would use the massive oline to run the ball then set up big shot plays.This season Oatsvall definitely had to throw the ball more but it showed his great skill set. Also Schoenwald moving to TE was a change but he did very well there, but he should be back at QB next season. The defense for the most part other than the bad game against TC played well. Looking to next year, BA should be back in the title hunt with all the skill players they return and oline and dline. Should be a fun one especially playing Hillsboro and Knox Catholic!!
