If dresden dont beat this podunk kentucky team by at least 40, then dresden should cancel the rest of the season, fire all their coaches, and next year the cheerleaders need to take over the playin duties. Shittinden county is horeable. They get cucked by everybody. The smallest school in kentucky, barely have enough boys to form a team, sometimes have to use 7th and 8th graders to form a team.

Your in bad need of a new game day tradition. I've only read 4 or 5 threads about Union City when they have had a big game coming up that interested me, and every single time you post this kind of crap game day, and every single time your team had the heck beat out of them. Guess since I'm on this thread reading and you posted this crap again we know the outcome of tonight's game already cause I'm batting 100 percent. Union City has never won a game that I was interested enough to read the pregame chatter on.

Guess we should cancel the season since Lake County is unstoppable. Looked up these 2 powerhouses. Marshall County won 3 games last year, and pretty much everybody they played put 50 on the board. Murray was an average team barely over .500 that played in 2a, and was put out of the playoffs with a near 50 point loss. You sure made a statement beating them 16-7

You figure it will be all Mayfield this year? Your in for a rude awakening. This game will show you why you picked the wrong team to schedule. This may be the Lynx rebuilding year, but they still will win this game don't care how loaded You think Mayfield is. This Will be the only year Mayfield can even be competitive. The last 3 years the Lynx would have dominated, just like they will next year. Enjoy this game this year even in your loss, cause it will be the only time the Kentucky team can even keep it close. I suspect after next year's thrashing Mayfield will drop this game. Big difference in Union City, and the Lynx. You struggled to beat Union City last year, and that was the worst Golden Tornado team they have had in a decade. Everyone pummeled Union City last year, and Mayfield snuck away with a close home win.

Mayfield won't want anymore after 2 years vs the Lynx. This year with the Lynx being young, and in Kentucky with their officials I'll say 35-21 Lynx. Next year Lynx by as much as they wish.

So your saying Lake County will be as good as Mayfield this season, and will test Union City just as much. Its a shame that Lake County, and Mayfield ain't playing each other if that's the case.

I got to attend. My unbiased opinion. UC had the tables turned on them. Usually it's the other team getting worn down. Great game plan by Mayfield to sub, and keep defensive starters fresher for late in the game. Mayfield had the Quickest scoring offense I've seen. 1-5 plays and they where in the end zone almost every drive. I think they where only stopped on 1 drive all night, and if the receiver catches the ball that hit him in the hands in the red zone early on, they wouldn't have been stopped on any drive. UC was successful for most part offensively, but Mayfield got a few stops especially late. I felt Mayfield got shafted on UC lone score of 2nd half when they got the stop on 4th down, only for UC to get a 1st down on a penalty for hitting qb as he threw ball. 21 for UC a stud. 2, and 6 for Mayfield awesome as well. Hope number 2 is ok. I thought it was a bad call by Bowling to punt mid 4th down 1 Score. If he goes for it and they get 1st down they had a chance to go down and score with little time left, and go for 2 and the win. I don't care if it was a fairly long 4th down, and back close to endzone. It was obvious they could not stop Mayfield and had to keep posession, I mean Mayfield ended up scoring 43, knelt down inside 10 1st and goal to end the game with 2 mins left so could have scored 50, and probably didn't have ball more than a quarter of the game that's how quick, and easily they was scoring, and you are going to give them the ball back when you are down to them a score? I knew when they punted it was over. Good news for UC is I think the way they played is good enough to win out the rest of the year if they play that flawless offensively from here on out with no turnovers, and few penalties. Doubt they play anyone with an offense like that, and with as much debth to wear them down. If UC gets a couple stops, and up 2 scores I don't see them losing, they just couldn't quite get up that 2nd score to make Mayfield panic. Good luck to both going forward, and hope they both get a gold ball.

Hearing Mayfield will be pretty good, and might even win a few games this year.

You either have not seen much football, or need to get out of rural western kentucky if the kid from Danville was the fastest you have seen in person. Watched the Danville/Mayfield game online, and Danville just looked about average, Mayfield looked terrible. The Danville kid wouldnt even be in the top 100 fastest high school football players ive seen. The mayfield defense got sucked in on that reverse, and all over pursued the wrong direction, and nobody stayed home to cut him off coming the other way. I could have run that in for a score. The team that showed up in that game wouldnt have beat Union City. Did think the one TD that Danville got near the end of half was bogus though, worst call i ever sawed. I expect a good game between Mayfield, and Union City this year. I could see it going either way.

2016 was only recent year a private knocked Mayfield out of playoffs. Danville the team that throttled them last year in finals was a public school that always beats Mayfield when they play.

August can't here fast enough. I'm ready for the first week already. May make the trip to Kentucky to watch Union City.

I'm just ready for season to start. August 17th can't get here soon enough. Think about trying to go to the UC/Mayfield game I expect it to be a lot closer this year.

I think Union City will be Champ. I have a question for anybody that has seen football in multiple states. How do we stack up compared to other states at the 2a level? I've only seen 2a here, and Kentucky. Are we below average, average, or above average as far as our top 2a teams? Is Kentucky 2a just that strong, or Is it that we are below average? We seen how strong Mayfield is, but out of the 4 teams left up there I'd put them at 3rd best. They will get killed by Christian Academy of Louisville friday, and if they do pull that one out they ain't beating Danville in the finals. Glasgow is the only final 4 team in Kentucky they are probably better than. So is Kentucky just a great 2a state, or are we playing poor 2a ball in Tennessee?

Mayfield is not that great. UC simply isn't near as good as we all thought they would be this year.

UC might as well turn in their pads, and helmets when the regular season is over, cause they ain't winning a gold ball. I doubt they are even a top ten team in 2a. 41-0 to a 2a kentucky team that won't even make it out of the semifinals if they even get that far. Embarrased to be from Tennessee.

I look for Dresden to be much better this year. Last year they struggled.

I'm not surprised. Adamsville is down. Will lose alot of games this year.
