Mav,I didn't say you would be eating it,I said somebody.Myself,I think Greeneville wins but I'm by no means thinking AC isn't capable of beating the Devils tonight.You have a very talented team.I really like what the Devils have but I'm not talking a lot of talk

I think the Rebs win tonight but wouldn't be surprised if it's tight early.Maybe 42-21 when the smoke clears.I'm more concerned about how my Devils will do because AC hasn't been beat and you never know about matchups.Still think we have enough but not as confident as I would be for Maryville tonight.

That's pretty good.I think Greeneville wins as well ,Today I'm thinking in the 30's for the Devils ,say 35-24.I'll take a win by any number .I won't be running as early as I wanted but will give you a call when I get there

I think the post game on here will be the best in a while.There is a world record crow being prepared for somebody and around 10:00 tomorrow night they better start eating because it might take a year to finish that meal.

This is the only game for a few thousand square miles

If all goes well and nothing changes my plans,I'll get there between 4:45 and 5:00.Somebody told me it was sold out but I know that's not the truth because they have tickets for walk ups.

It's something you have to keep up with all the time with debit and credit cards.I bought a plane ticket to some former soviet republic and a high dollar ladies fur coat a couple years ago. Took the wife out and they double charged the debit card last week.

It was funny seeing some of the fans show up at game time, thanking they would get a seat for that game.

One thing about it.Before there was even a CD,south,north or west greene and kids were going to schools like Saint James,Camp creek and Baileyton , many people in the county had a dislike for Greenevile high.I can give you several reasons but as for myself,I always wish the county schools the best when the play other teams or go to state in a sport.

Two things I know to be fact brother.I never could spell worth a fort Patrick henry dam and I never really gave a fort Patrick henry dam about it .The other is you never ever ever ever could ,well I guess there really is no reason to finish that.Now I will give you props on that one time you came back to Tennessee and bith slammed me right out of the gate to get my attention.Well,it was a great start but just like DB this year,your finish wasn't to good.I hope to get down there early brother if all works out.

It would be nice to see the Devils control the line on both sides and take AC out of their comfort zone,while Greeneville gains a quick lead and the mavs start to question themselves.Hope it works out that way but this AC team has some studs and I think they will gain some yards and score points.The team that focuses on their own game plan and makes the fewest mistakes will win.

Hats off to the Dobyns Bennett band this past weekend.They finished number 6 in the nation.No it's not football but out of thousands of bands ,that is just an awesome job and something for our whole state to be proud of.

I don't think any Devil fan thought DB wasn't very talented.One thing that got them happened over the last few years.5 of their best 7 lineman from this class was gone and that alone was a lot of depth in the 2nd half of games .One of those kids was bigger as a 9th grader then any lineman they had and they were huge this year.That kid just got a full ride to Kentucky I believe.No,I'd have to say DB wasn't overrated because they were leading Alcoa right up until the end and last week had a 20-7 half time lead on BC.Greeneville is blessed with great coaches and I guarantee you with coach Ballard and staff at DB over the last few years,they would be playing Maryville with a solid chance to win.Thats also why Greeneville is the only team ever in NET to play in 3 state finals and one of two to win back to back.The only other was TH in 71-72,nearly a half century ago.

Can not dispute what I don't know but I'd probably have to put the Maryville staff into the mix of the best staff in the state.I think Greeneville has the best staff in NET without a question.I seen first hand a very talented DB team going up and down the field in the first half and didn't score in the 2nd against Greeneville.

Ha Ha.The first thing I told my "gramur" teacher at Sunnyside was I won't be very good in her class ! Thank goodness I atleast made a play or two in sports while I was there.

Have no ideal and wouldn't risk it by not going to the game.The matchup of the year in East Tennessee.

No need for AC fans to make the trip,I hear it will be on tv down there.

I talked to one of the refs about the BC vs DB game and asked what the 5 yard penalty against BC was for when they had the chains on the field.After he explained,I'm pretty sure it could have been a 15 yard penalty. I'd give a dollar to hear that half time speech to the BC team because it must have been a good one .

Taking off the Devil glasses here.Yes Central won on the hail mary but before that happened,I really thought Greeneville was very fortunate to be in position to win.Reason being, Central was very good up front and played a very good game that night .That all said,Central didn't win anything and the best team came out of the west.That means this is a huge game but who knows how good the teams out west really are again this year.
