You see if the coach has boys leave his program or if he has men leave his program.

I've known coaches who coach their own kids who are fair to the team and their own kids. That's rare. What you see more often are coaches who favor their own kids or coaches who are way too hard on their own kids.

I understand there are some bad coaches out there, but the coach is in charge. He sets the game plan. Parents just cause issues. I miss the days when a parent would coach their kid from the stands and the player found himself at the end of the bench.

I was there too. SG looked flat shooting. Never got much going offensively. D-B shot better.

You're just a $h-t stirrer and everyone can tell that. As far as what is going on? I don't know. They've been pretty good for years. Sometimes you get a down year. Sometimes you don't have the players. Sometimes the adjustments a coach needs to make don't work. If it's three or so years and you can tell nothing is changing, then you have problems.

I listened to it. They were without Roderick and sounded like Hampton shot well.

Is it a larger venue? With them being out of their own gym, maybe that's the reason. I remember Crockett and Boone used to play in the mini dome. It wasn't a good place to watch a game, but it was what they did and I heard they had large crowds. Heard the game now has less attendance.

They should be all back. They were eliminated over a week ago.

The transfer is ineligible for this season I'm almost positive. I watched online and I really feel SG played pretty bad. NG played well, but I don't think they are going to have a very good season unless it's just a totally weak division.

They don't like scheduling games but Poore knew SG would be one of the better teams in the area. Hoese knew what D-B had. Coaches that expect their teams to make a run in tournaments try to get their teams playing against that level of competition. That's why they play these games. You don't want to lose, but they would rather take a loss now in non-conference action than in the post season elimination games.

Poore had a nephew and niece play tonight for SG I believe.

Not seen anyone mention South Greene. Sounds like they have a great team.

Yeah. Read articles about it. It seems his car was parked at a residence. He was drinking underage, but if you kicked players off for that, I guarantee a lot of teams would lose a lot of players. He was sitting there, wasn't going to drive. The keys were in his pockets, not in the ignition. It was a push button. I just feel the cop was looking for a problem. I can't fault the coach if he plays or if he doesn't.
