  1. Coach A left Hillsboro for Riverdale, then the Boro brought in Blade.

  6. Yes. I don’t think it will pass but I don’t know anything lol.
  7. It’s a K-12 Bill... follow Max Wise on Twitter. He proposed the bill.
  8. Agreed on all. It’s really difficult for the “have nots” to compete with the “haves” in metro. Coach Woods at CR has done a great job of building a fence around Antioch and keeping most of Antioch there.
  9. It’s for every grade level in KY. The caveat is that the kid cannot turn 19 before August 1st and had to be enrolled in a KY school district when the 20-21 school year began. If your school district doesn’t allow for this, then you CANNOT transfer to another school district that may allow it. Still has to go through the House. If the House passes it then the Governor has to sign off on it. Still not a sure bet.
  10. The entire “open zone” occurrence unleashed all of the hounds who smelled blood. The Glencliff, Antioch, and Whites Creek zone have a lot of kids going to those 4 “power” schools. You still have to keep YOUR kids that are at your feeder schools. Bottom line. However you do that is up to you and your staff. The more you win, the more likely it is.
  11. I think it’s possible. During my time in metro, Overton had some of the best athletes in their zone. Problem is you have to recruit to retain your own zoned kids. You can’t have the privates poaching your best players. Coach Anderson was a class act and one heck of a football coach. His Overton teams were always well coached and hard nosed.
  12. Always had good battles with Beech. Coach Crabtree and staff always have their guys well coached, physical, & football smart.
  13. You are forgetting Craig Clayton at Hillsboro from 2012-2016. Coach Clayton has 292 wins in his coaching career over his coaching stops at Todd County (KY) Hopkinsville (KY) Franklin HS (TN) & Hillsboro HS (TN).
  14. Coach Woodward will do a great job. Got a raw deal at Brentwood but had some really good teams at Antioch. Good luck coach.
  15. Hillsboro has only lost to Shelbyville once, which was in 2019. 12-1 vs them all time. Stewart will do well at East. Give him time and don’t judge in year one. Hopefully admin will give him a chance to bring his own staff and not be handcuffed. If that happens they will make noise in his first year.
  16. I think JS would do a good job at East. Relates well to the kids and has a passion for the game.
  17. I appreciate all the kind words. I’m still finishing my certification and won’t be done until August. East will have a great selection of either coaches with HC experience or rising coordinators in Metro. I know many of them personally and all would do a heck of a job.
  18. Yes sir. Still challenges up here but not nearly as many day to day issues. 8-4 last year and should be better this season. Got a chance to make a long run this year if we stay healthy.
  19. East is in one of the best football situations in Nashville. They have to get this hire right though, Coach Waite worked his tail off for that community and his young men.
  20. He is a good man. Tough, hard-nosed coach. I feel like he will need quality assistants around him because he is stepping up to a much much much tougher level of competition week in and week out. He did a good job at Todd County. Got people back interested in that program. It will be interesting to see because he doesn’t have much coaching experience on the HS level for what that’s worth.
  21. Oh ok. Good football there. I’m the DC at Hopkinsville HS currently.
