One of the best players I’ve seen this year, he can can keep his team in every game by herself.

Lady Tigers played them tough last night, they cut the lead down to 4 in the 3rd but Central’s to deep and talented. I think Central should go to state this year with a chance to win some games when they get there. Meigs will probably have to go through Polk and Tellico again to play Central in the region championship, witch I believe they can do.

Well it’s pretty much settled. 1 Sweetwater 10-0 2 Meigs 7-3 3 McMinn Central 5-4 4 Kingston 4-5 5 Tellico 2-6 6 Loudon 0-10 Still a couple games to be played but the only thing that could change would be the 4-5 seeds but I think that’s highly unlikely. Tellico would have to beat Kingston and Central.

GP and Alcoa have split this season. Central has beaten Alcoa twice. I don’t know if a young Meigs team can go on the road and win. But they all have to get their first.

Yes I think Central is definitely going, not so sure about the other team.

I think in East TN AA substate will be McMinn Central and Meigs Co vs Alcoa, GP or South Greene.

The same thing in district 3 Central comes to Meigs and that will determine the 2/3 seeds.

After tonight’s games it’s pretty simple for Meigs, beat Center Friday and they will be the two seed. Sweetwater 8-0 Meigs 6-3 Central 5-3 Kingston 3-4 Tellico 2-5 Loudon 0-9

Meigs beat Kingston handedly tonight, if they can upset Central Friday night they will be co champions.

Probably York. But we would play the winner/loser of region 1 championship, more than likely GP, Alcoa or South Greene if we make it that far.

I agree. I do think this game will be closer than the last one but Central will be hard to beat. I think Tellico has underperformed this year but they could be a hard out come tournament time. I would like to see District 3 sweep District 4, maybe they would move the girls region back to Meigs instead of going all the way to Marion.

Central and Meigs have clenched the 1 and 2 seeds. Central comes to Meigs next Friday, Central is the favorite but Meigs can be a hard place to come in and get a win. But win or lose against Central this young Meigs team has done well this year and still has a chance to play in a substate game for the 6th year in a row.

There’s still a lot to be decided in district 3. If Sweetwater can go to Central next week and win they will have the one seed rapped up. But 2-4 there’s a lot that can happen. Meigs has to go to Kingston and play Central at home next week, it’s going to come down to the last week to decide it all.

Will do. Sweetwater has a local radio station that does their games and Meigs has a YouTube channel that does the home games. The old football coach Fitzgerald did it last night. I will find the info and post.

I agree Polk comes to Meigs on the 7th. Meigs has a big district game tonight against Sweetwater.

Good win tonight for the lady Tigers at Tellico. That puts them in a good spot to at least get the 2 seed going into the district tournament.

Playing better competition will definitely help come tournament time. I would love to see a east TN team go win it all In 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A but we both know that’s hard to do with the level of competition out west. Good luck to you guys.

I definitely understand the young players, one game you look like you could beat anyone and the next game they make all those little mistakes. For some reason I was thinking that district 1A and 1AA was down this year North and Hampton both around 500 and I know Herriman’s not very good. Is it strength of schedule, have a lot of the teams improved up that way? The reason I asked is because Meigs moved back to district 3 region 2 and they are young but they are holding on to the 2 seed right now behind Central and they have a chance to make it to a substate game.
