According to David Clary's Twitter page, the Wildcat Boys play Volunteer Tuesday at 4:00 pm at Sullivan EAST. The game will be on Prep Radio.com and STREAMED LIVE on YouTube Channel Prep Radio.com.

I have mentioned Coach Whitten of Betsy twice with no feedback. For the third time call hin and see what it would take to get him. FYI, Betsy beat Greeneville tonight. When OR hires Whitten I get to say I told ya so. Just kidding.

An exciting season of Girls Basketball has tipped off in Oak Ridge. The Lady Wildcats are playing McMinn County tonight in the Wildcat Arena / Jill Prudden Floor. OR has 13 varsity players 5 of which are Freshmen. Remember, Oak Ridge Robertsville Middle School were Middle School State Runner ups in 2020 and STATE CHAMPIONS in 2021. Oak Ridge Jefferson Middle School also supplies ORHS with talent. Starting tonight for OR were Stewart, Hart, Green, Clark and Lindsey. Porter and Cleveland saw action in the First half of the game. Several Lady Wildcats are missing tonight due to injuries. The Lady Wildcats are ahead at the half 32 - 31.

Not sure if somebody has thought about Coach Clarke Duncan yet? He posted a nice Tweet to Coach Gaddis and Gaddis has said they were friends. Would he be a good fit for the Wildcats? Oh, just for the record...I will not apply nor accept the Head Coaching Football position at Oak Ridge. However, I am always available to sit in the Press Box and eat Big Eds. I will even buy my own pie. I will need an assistant to sneak beer into the stadium. JK.

Ummmm, I just did the CoachT Big Ones Contest....and Picked Powell. I am just really into this game but go back and forth as to who will win.

I've tried to be fair to both teams. Here is my winner of the game, Powell has more athletes at the skill position. When Potts is rolling they are just about unstoppable. Rhea County is fun to watch on offense. I try and follow who has the ball but get lost a lot. Powell has the great DL but sometimes their Defense breaks down. Rhea is going to have to contain the Panthers QB. Rhea County wins 41 - 38.

You would not be by yourself. I would be their in a Recliner, drinking beer and eating gummy bears as I watch the Sweet Sweat Roll Sweet Sweat Roll.

The Lady Wildcats are like a volcano waiting to explode With Youth galore starting alongside grizzly old vets this season will be fun to watch. Road trips to Arizona and Greeneville should have them Tournament Season ready. RWR! May the Wildcat Force be with you.

That is a great idea David. Good luck and I hope it will put certain things to rest. But I fear some people will never be satisfied and continue to wants details that frankly they are not entitled to. People have the right to expect some of their employment details to remain private. Since Coach G is employed by a Public School system some details should be public. However, just because some people in the community want to gossip doesn't mean Gaddis has to feed their quest to be busy bodies. That is probably clear as mud. I like Coach Gaddis. He made me proud to be a graduate of ORHS. Now, David, please have an Introduction to the 2021- 2022 Basketball season soon. I am very excited for this coming season for both girls and boys. Thanks David for all you and your team do for the Basketball program and Basketball Wildcats fans.

I do think Oak Ridge will be back in the hunt for a Region title next season. The new coach will bring more excitement to the Program. However, Coach Gaddis DID NOT leave us without many fine players. The Wildcats will have to fight and work hard from now until the start of next season to get the job done. The players must hold themselves accountable and so must the coaches. Even the community must pitch in. Bounder is right we must not rush to get a hire. However, it is fun to speculate. So far my favorites are Rosser ( formerly at Central ). Coach Whitten at Betsy and the Price twins from Campbell County. RWR! May the Force be with the Wildcats!

No, I think that website must have our new District wrong. Our current Class 4-A Region 2 District 3 includes Karns, Campbell County, West, Central, Powell and Oak Ridge. CoachT has our District correct. OR plays all District teams twice. We now only play Clinton once. I hope that helps. RWR!

I would drink the Price kool aid. They worked hard and made Campbell County a tough team to play.

Thank you for the pity bone to Oak Ridge. Next year we will be worthy of a ranking.
