Great game tonight in Dyersburg if you are a Trojan fan, tg3r ladies pulled out a 4 point win in OT over a very good Gibson Cty. Team. Thursday 12/20/18, both yeans are participating in a tournament to be held at GCHS. The Lady Trojans will play another good team Gleason, ( I think this is where the Ayers coached prior to comong to Dyersburg). If we should win there is a possibility we could face Gibson Cty again. Glad to see the Lady Trojans believe in playing tough competition, it makes for a better and tougher team come tournament time. Goooo Trojans

Covington handidly defeated Dyersburg 86 -55. Looks like there is a lot of w3prk to do. I have a feeling Dyersburg has had sone players to defect to Dyer County....there were too many good pmayers in the middle school program who have disappeared and normally they reappear in Choctaw colors. If so good luck

Got to see Trojans last night in their home court season opener. Must say I love the new floor. Dyersburg has some of the best athletic facilities of any teams in West Tn. Not saying it because I'm a fan, it's simply my opinion so its subject to other peoples disgression. The guys started out very shaky in fact I almost LEFT during the in the 2 nd quarter. However adjustments were made and we escaped with oir first win of season. I'm not sure. But this yrs team look shorthanded not sure if there are footballers who havent joined, but the guys play hard. I always see Mcnaulty coach teams have a lot of fight.

In a hard fought game The Lady Trojans avenged a season opening loss to The Lady Chargers. D'burg 36-Lady Chargers 33. Both teams are tough and pmay great defense, however if either were decent free throw shooters Covington would have won by at least10 pts.

Never could see who the go to player was....i did like one of the new playees Aliyah Bonds. she is the future...veey good poibt guard and played fearless. Next up Covington and a chance to avenge a earlier lost this season.

Exactly, the ladies actually won a ckose one on Tuesday at USJ. The Ayers will have them ready by district play.

Congrats Greenville you did what everyone expected. A great job Haywood for your perseverance all season, congrats on a great season from your rivals the Dyersburg Trojans. You guys have nothing to hold your heads down, you represented our area and West Tn with class. Now both our teams can start getting ready for some great football in 2019..as always goooo Trojans.

I've noticed sone very low scoring games...I was thinking looks like they have the defensive side down pretty good, but offensively still struggling. Lost a lot of scoring this past year with those two seniors graduating. I have faith in the Ayers the two of them work good together The program is heading in the right direction...
