Style? Coach's last stop before coming to SC was TC. so there's that.  I don't know, SC was 3A last year and TC was on the schedule, and moved to 2A in the same region with TC this year, so as far as scheduling goes, well, here we are. If ER beats SC by 3 TDs, you have something to look foward too in a couple of weeks.

Neither coach cares for the other. There is a mutual dislike for each other in a personal way.

Agree next year will be really bad. Similar to 2022. But shouldn’t they improve some and be competitive in 2025 when the current 8th graders are in the 10th grade? And then 2026 is back to being good?

That's what I'm thinking. I also think we will have a lot of freshman-skill players starting or getting a lot of playing time next year. The talent is there a lot of it just very young right now.

    Same Jackets, turnovers, mistakes. Embarrassing.

You have to come to terms with this isn't the TC OF 90’s and 2000’s. This is TC of the mid-80s. They are improving just don't have the talent to compete for region titles. Everyone's expectations need to change if TC can win 4-5 games a and it's a good year. The talent just isn't there right now and won't be for the next two years

I recall 2-3 years ago hearing something similar about Calhoun, Gregory, Gunter, Atwood, etc.

But you go ahead and cling to that hope.

That was web those kids were Sophomores and Freshmen. All three turned out to be really good but the team around them not so much. The next two years will be really tough for this program. The talent in TC is still developing and really young. Just look at Junior high that's a sign of what's to come.

He's a 7th grader. Looks like they have plenty of other running backs. Obviously hasn't affected them the 3 games without him. 6-0

The Peewee program has helped turn the junior high program around. This is just the start of the talent that is on its way to the high school program. This is just the start of the talent influx coming up to high school and junior high programs. These kids will have TC football back on top for a while once they get into junior high and high school.

I agree, but it comes down to finishing drives. TC moved the ball well vs LA and should have scored at least 2 more times. Then vs Macon, if they score on that 1st possession, it's a totally different game, that was huge gain of momentum for MC and Mo in high school ball can spiral downhill quickly.

That 4th down stop by MC in the red zone changed the game I totally agree with you. Also, the missed tackles are an issue. I still think if the kid didn't blow his shoulder out TC's offense would look totally different.

They play Gville's Jr. High next week. Both are undefeated. Looking at common opponents, Gville should have the edge.

As far as this game Friday, I've heard we have a few sitting, not sure. But I still like our chances, we need it in a big way.

I'm also convinced that Satterfield is putting emphasis on this game to keep the win streak against Gville on the creekbank alive.

It won't matter who sits out for Girdy if TC's offense doesn't improve averaging  4, or 5 points a game is a huge issue.

Enough to compete for the region?

I really don't know just looking at the schedule I can see 4-6 eins. The first 4 games of the season will show how good a team TC will be this season. I still feel we should finish in the top 3 in the region. Some great athletes are in the next few classes and will bring TC back to chasing rings.

@RTD give us some updates on TC’s off-season and prospects for 2023!

I don't know how good they will be this year. But I think TC will win more than 2 games. Also, certain key positional changes have been made that will help the team come up with some W’s this season.

I'll say this, a few little jackets will end up in Watertown.  Bet the farm on that. Parents already on board

Lol H2O pee wee football program isn't good at all. You'll need help. I'm sure you'll burrow some of our3rd and 4th string kids. Some parents aren't worth the trouble. I have learned that over the past few years.

Maybe so but they need to remember these are kids, not college or pro

I agree with you 100%. I have never heard a PA lead a crowd in cheers. He was obnoxious. Plus if he going to announce a football game knows the game.

The real possibility is for that TC, Smith, Westmoreland region to be region 3 and region 4 be Fayetteville, Forrest, Cannon, etc,...But that is a long shot

To be a realistic TC fan just making the playoffs will be the goal. TC HAS 3-4 years before we can talk about competing. Gold ball. Am I in the wrong to feel this way?

Sounds like a good resume. Y’all make him out to sound like a champ ??? Idk nothing about the guy I’m just saying if he was good as y’all say why isn’t other schools pursuing him?? And you want to say 4 titles at Oakland ?? The film guy can say he was part of that…as far as baseball I did hear he had a job at one of the Wilson county schools? What happened there? He leave to go help Creasy?  get fired?or what? My grandson said he got kicked out of a darn pee wee game a while back??

As far as pee wee goes that was just a very sensitive ref.

I am a TC fan and I care who wins. I will cheer on the young talent when their time comes. However, I am cheering on every kid on the team right now. Go Jackets!!!!!!!

I care but the streak was the goals can't go for the gold ball without keeping the streak going. I will always cheer for TC and yea this team has some bright spots but the talent that will get us back to the top of the state isn't even in 7th grade yet there will be a rebuilding process with the team getting better and better each year.

  15. Most TC fans don't care who wins. TC reach its goal of keeping the streak alive. TC will be back to itself in a few years and even better honestly talent is just very young in TC right now. Good luck to the Rams hopefully we can give you'll a challenge for a few quarters come Friday night. TC won't bring a big crowd it will be mostly the parents in the stands and a team of only 18-23 players.

I’m watching online and have paid close attention to him and he has shown zero emotion and has done exactly that… sit back and watch!!

I don’t know much about H2O coaching staff but I think it’s time for new HC in Watertown. The offense is very predictable and not very hard to gameplan against. H2O offense is what I see in jr pro.
