#15 is a football player. Nothing flashy just a kid from a great Huntingdon football family that knows how to play the game.

# 13 at running back is very good. I thought he ran the ball better against Mt Pleasant than he has all year.

#7 is also a junior. As coach John Merrit from Tennessee State used to say " he's quicker than a hiccup.

If a coach paid any attention to anything on this message board he ought to be fired!

There's an epidemic of that going around in Mustang land. Doctors tell us it's caused by excess winning. We've won so much in the past that it's blown our minds!

Last undefeated team I played on was 1968.

Mustangs lost #76 to a torn ACL in a preseason car accident. He was in my opinion amoung the best defensive tackles in west Tennessee. Strong fast and mean I sure missed getting to watch him play defense this season.

I remember the kick-off Tim ran back against Lake Co in the 1965 Milan JC Bowl. Seems like game began with 2 kick-off returns for TD's. Played with Tim. Class act and maybe the best high school football player I've seen. Not the most talented but completely dominated games. Graduated #1 in his UT law class.

Yeah he could part Reelfoot Lake.

We for sure don't like getting beat. Much respect to the Bulldogs. I can assure you these young Mustangs are planning to avenge that loss friday night!

I don't think the Mustangs have forgotten last years double OT loss to the Bulldogs. No surprises!

Mustangs played their most physical game tonight. #13 had a tough night. He took a bunch of big hits in the first half but to his credit came out and competed in the 2nd half. Mustangs pretty much dominated the line of scrimmage so # 13 could not get much going. Stangs really laid the wood tonight.

Fillies definitely has their hands full with McKenzie and maybe Clarksburg. If a couple young players step up and if Fuller makes it back in January. She's 2 steps faster than anybody in the region then the Fillies could be a factor statewide by tournament time!

You need to find another job. Only so many high school games in a lifetime.

Mustang defense this year is better than it's getting credit for. What points we've given up have been getting the ball thrown over our heads. Huntingdon db's are burners so surely we'll correct the problem.

How can you say that? Nobody has tested us yet. Way to early to tell how good any team is yet but Huntingdon has been just as impressive so far as Dresden was in their championship season.

I don't know if the Dresden team that beat Greenback is better than this years Mustangs or not. Huntingdon I think has more speed and offensive weapons than the Winn led Lions. Time will tell!

You won't see any Mustang players sliding down to keep from getting hit like I saw Mt Pleasant do against Moore Co. Mt Pleasant only scored 26 points against Moore Co which had 7 turnovers.

Our district won region 6 last season. That's a pretty big deal. My pick for impact player of the year is Tyasia Reed of Huntingdon. Nobody ever mentions her. I think she's a big time player.

Mt Pleasant concerns me. They're the type team if you let hang around they can give you trouble. Mustangs better jump on them early!

Bennett is not going to stay out of foul trouble. I like the way she plays.

She looks like she's ready to go wide open right now. Kid has got a great motor.

McKenzie will give Huntingdon all they want this season. Fillies may be the best team in the state without a point guard. It's going to take some great coaching to overcome it.
