Ultimately it’s how far you go, only 1 8aaa team has been able to win a Region game the past 5 years. Maybe tullahoma can get a region win this year, it would be their first since the Truman administration.

I agree Pearl, Tullahoma has 4 seniors that are very experienced. Duncan and Vinson have been the cream of 8-aaa for 3 years now. Tullahoma is def the favorite at home, should be a great atmosphere. Your statement made me go back and do a little research. Duncan - 1 reg season mvp, 1 tournament mvp, 2 region apperances in 3 years, 0 region wins, 17-21 district 8-aaa record, 1 district tournament championship appearance, 1 district tournament championship. 1-8 versus Coffee County, 1-5 versus vinson Vinson - 1 reg season mvp, 2 region appearances in 2 years, 1 region tournament win, 25-2 district 8-aaa record, 2 regular season 8-aaa titles, 2 appearaces in 8-aaa title game, 1 all state award. 1 all region award. 5-1 versus tullahoma. I had no idea Duncan was 1-8 against Coffee, the 1 was huge though even though 2 days later Coffee won a region game and tullahoma went home.

Tullahoma wins by 20 friday night versus Lawrence. I think Shelbyville is 0-3 in district and will finish no better than 5th.

I agree, I think Lawrence is way ahead of Franklin Co, Shelbyville and Columbia. The Clark girl is gonna be a great player for sure.

What would be the next step? They have been to region the past few years so i guess the next step would be win a region game. No way this team can beat one of the Boro teams. They have 1 good player and she has no help, it will be a few years before they have any chance to be good, right now they are not even competitive.

First couple of games are in the book. Looks like a 2 horse race, Coffee Co and Tullahoma both had impressive wins last night. Tullahoma had a running clock win over Lincoln, that was surprising to me. I thought Tullahoma would win but not by 35. Coffee Co beat Franklin Co by 40, 2 days after Tullahoma beat them by 16. Lawrence Co clipped my eaglettes wings and Columbia ........... well never mind!!!!!

After seeing a couple weeks of games I think the district will go as follows, Tullahoma, Lincoln and Coffee will be 1,2,3 and it could go anyway between those 3. I think my shelbyville girls will be 4 with Lawrence 5th and Columbia and Franklin Co will round out the District. I do think Tullahoma and Coffee could win a region game this year as well.

Went and watched Grundy beat Franklin Co last night, wow, either Grundy has gotten 60 points better in a year or Franklin Co had went backwards, worst Franklin Co team I’ve seen in 50 years.

Talked to a coach in the play day and it is still on. Tullahoma coach called and backed out at the last minute because they were over the limit in games lol. They played nolensville tuesday then had a play day thursday and knew they were over the limit. Would have still played but everyone knew they were over the limit and they were afraid of being caught, That coach got suspended in middle school for playing to many games, got practice taken away last year for starting early and would have gotten in trouble this year if he hadn't backed out and messed everyone up at the last minute. Rules shouldn't be that hard to follow!!!!

Tullahoma beat Nolensville in a close game yesterday. Nolensville pulled the starters in a tied game late and tullahomas press was too much. Duncan led Tullahoma in scoring. Tullahoma has Beech and Blackmon on thursday then has 2 games in Riverdales playday on saturday. Tullahome is getting a lot of work in before season starts. 6 games and 3 playdays will only help them.
