I agree 100% with you old school. It was crazy that the 4th and 5th place team got as many all district selections as first place. Tullahoma plays 5 on 4 the entire game because all the MVP wants to do is snowbird, her team will eventually get tired of that. So hard to watch that and not get aggravated.

If i remember correctly Tullahoma is 0-6 against Coffee Co the last 2 seasons, and 3-20 against the rest of the district other than columbia, MVP MVP MVP LOL

Yes and they lost to SCHS, Lawrence Co and Lincoln Co. They will be 4th at best next year and I don't think they have won a district championship since girl's basketball went to 5 on 5. Moore Co on the other hand wins one on a regular basis.

Tullahoma lost to every team in 8-AAA except for Columbia who didn't win a game and were 0-6 against Franklin Co and Coffee Co (by over 120 points btw). Leaving Moore Co for Tullahoma would be like leaving Duke for Navy.

I heard yesterday that the coach from West Middle was taking the Tullahoma job.

I agree with you 100% that a ref should be assigned to both the scorebook and the clock in postseason. However unlike coaches who are required to have college degrees there are many many refs who simply would not be able to keep an accurate book, this is sad but very true. It happens every year, a team full of innocent kids lose their season because of an inept official. We literally had an official at a home game this year with 2 teeth in his head and spoke in broken English, could you imagine him on a book during the post-season lol

Actually its Shelbyville coach to Franklin co and Moore Co coach to Tullahoma. I'm not saying I want this, its just what I heard. I hope Franklin Co keeps the current coach. We were 3-0 against them and shot 126 foul shots in 3 games. By far the most undisciplined team in the district and perinnial 3rd or 4th place. I sat next to the coach after the 2017 district tournament at Franklin Co (where they came in 4th) and heard him say that this year was going to be different, he had everybody coming back and would compete for a district title lol. 3rd place is not competing.

Heard we are losing our Coach of the Year to Franklin Co.

My Eaglettes easily handled Franklin Co. by 15. I got there at the end of the Coffee Co-Tullahoma game and Coffee was up 20. Best 2 teams in the championship game monday night. I have my Eaglettes winning by 15 this time. Go get that #1 seed ladies.

Happens all the time, my Lady Eaglettes came in 2nd place and placed 2 players on the all district team same as Coffee Co who came in 1st. Our coach got COY award over 1st place team all though she lost 3 district games and 2 of them were to the 5th and 6th place teams. Makes you wonder what people are thinking.

Final night of District play, here is how i got it Shelbyville over Coffee for district championship!!! Franklin Co over Tullahoma Lawrence over Lincoln

We really stumbled against Lincoln last night. I thought they were much more prepared and we got out coached all night. Friday night at Coffee is for 1st place, winner will be 1st, loser will be second. I hope we make a better showing.

We beat the worst team in the other district (smyrna) by 30 and i think Coffee County did the same, and our top 6 teams would destroy smyrna, siegel, and lavergne. Riverdale is 25 points better than any team in the region, riverdale and bradley central are going to the state tournament and stewarts creek, oakland, shelbyville, frankiln co etc etc can do nothing about it.

One week left - What are your thoughts on finishing order, here is mine. 1. Shelbyville - 2 seniors are playing really well. 2. Coffee - Only loss is to Shelbyville 3. Franklin - Most athletic team by far 4. Lawrence - very young but talented 5. Tullahoma - jekyll and hyde - no team concept at all 6. Lincoln - great d but struggle on offense 7. Columbia - not this year but improving

My Eaglettes are looking pretty strong in the district. Got a good chance to repeat if we continue to improve. Franklin Co won by 50 last night and Lincoln Co. got a huge win, totally missed that one. How does Tullahoma score 70 on thursday and only score 40 last night. Lincoln versus Coffee after the break will tell us a lot.
