  1. Asher did not transfer for educational reasons, nothing to say on a public board. My daughter and Asher went to school together since kindergarten. His mother took a job in Brentwood system for a short while or Asher would have been in the 13 year graduating group. Asher said something really funny when I picked her up after school in 2nd grade. I am white and my wife is British Indian, so she is brown in the British vernacular. Next day I picked her up and she was crying and asked me why I did not tell her she was adopted, and I said she was not. But dad, she said Asher told her she was adopted because she had a white dad. Asher has blossomed athletically of late but Rawls Patterson is our go to guy for sure and certain. Nefarious is an overstatement but I hear Asher is better off at Boyd. My daughter is CPA class of 2024, have known and watched and entertained enough to know our kids quite well. I believe they will pull it out. My daughter also hates Alcoa because of their winning against us
  2. little bit of constant drizzle today about 1/2 mile from the CPA den. I am thinking this could be a redux of Kane Patterson vs Eric Gray for how the game plays out except this time CPA has more speed. Field looks fast and well drained contrary to all the crap thrown out when Lausanne fell hard even having Eric Gray. The CPA Kane Patterson equivalent will be Cruz Law who should also get plenty of carries, while the FRA equivalent is Ty Clark. Will be interesting if it follows the same script and CPA vs Boyd rematches Asher Keck and CPA. His dad was long time coach and him mom long time teacher. I expect closer game tonight and better performance from FRA QB. So far it seems like chalk is holding and I am interested to see if the track changes from fast to sloppy. Big boy matchup may win then. John Wayne Oliver got the better of Luke Masterson by split decision first match. The gold ball should be contested in Murfreesboro again to split the distance, but it shall be Chattanooga. Advantage BB?
  3. the absolute worst was the white hat call of delayed unsportsmanlike and no catch on the first Jackson Matthews interception, that was made from 30 yards away and 5 seconds after play conclusion. 4-2 CPA led in unsportsmanlikes which were all celebration calls apparently, personal fouls were even. FRA 50 point per game average was a mystery last night. The battle between Ole Miss signee CPA 77 and NC signee 71 for FRA was a draw. Ty Clark was the most physical RB and underuse given the QB play that was FRA last night, but another CPA legacy Rawls Patterson was the game breaker and difference maker. It was not Lausanne Eric Gray vs Kane, but the field was pristine tonight. REfs were a detriment to both teams and should have been never assigned a game this important. Ondre Evans has the physical skills that got him a CB scholly at LsU but Jackson Matthews was the best DB on the field again as has been every game played this year.
  4. head to head, the QB situation favored CPA last night. I Predict more Cruz Law at power QB in the championship run, neither QB showed the ability to make a positive difference in the game. Both K also did the same. Power running is the history of Ingle Martin, you cannot find much Steve Spurrier in Ingle. FRA QB threw 4 official int's but it was really 5 as a wild zebra crew ran amok on the field last night and must have set a world record for dead ball unsportsmanlike calls that hurt both teams.
  5. CPA lost Hutson Chance to ACL for the year and so if QB play goes like it did vs PC then MBA might get that first win, but probably not. WHEN LA catches on then they will roll and probably get hot come playoff time, more respect for Nooga schools than I am used to despite Booger doing the appropriate pumping.
  6. 11th graders at CPA are the most successful athletic group esp football that the school has ever produced even counting 2 QB losses that belong in the class of 2024. No regrets for what is on the sideline and on the field for 2022. Been saying that for a few years, 2024 kids have only lost once to MBA and once to Catholic conglomerate since the 4th grade. Lipscomb is the hottest NIL money maven so they may procure better talent and coach it up again, so until prove otherwise I would take CPA and LA in AA
  7. Count the long ball TD to London Humphries that was called back by holding then the 38-0 is at least 38-7 but was most likely going to be very close because it was even thru most of the first Q and part of the 2nd. London Humphries will be best athlete on the field and Broome the best football player. QB for each is vital and both are capable of being the star. Not sure either coach has a surprise for the other, so that means whichever wins the line play will win the game. LA will not get the gift of a fumble deep from a kid who tries too hard and is firey on each play he is in. That is 2 big momentum shifts that will not play out again. CPA LB corps will play Broome running better, but the 2 bugaboo weaknesses all year will be evident again. CB coverage and wide play coverage will be a CPA weakness and bad snaps are a possible game changer which has happened often. LA had Oakland down early and CPA had Oakland on the ropes late, both CPA and LA have proven talent. CPA will be ready and may need to win the toss and establish the game on offense to pull off the turn around. Gold ball is the continuing motto from all year. Weather and early kickoff are confounders. What say Booger for his hometown hosting? One touchdown either way, much as last year in Cookeville. CPA 10th graders have played more in playoffs that reg season, and CPA is healthier going in to this one than reg season matchup.
  8. real persistent problem is snaps, so far CPA talent has managed that but bad snaps to qB or punter will eventually kill them. Neither LA nor CPA can match what I saw when Oakland beat that MS team on ESPN.Size and depth will win for Oakland. The OL scheme at CPA relies on slide steps which causes reached against BGA and GoodP types which Oakland will just maraud over. CPA is more quick than strong on both lines. Good enough to continue Div II AA dominance but not Oakland. Field was great and fast again tonight, money well spent to fight the bullsheet allegation for muddying the field against Lausanne and Gray. New drainage, new substrate and new grass = great field for wet or dry.
  9. well according to the unfortunate CPA stadium voice everything is a joke, dude is such a dumparse. Really hard to listen to his attention seeking dumbness. Langston Patterson has been the most dominant player on the field each game so far. Easy to see why Marcel Reed is dual threat nationallly ranked QB. Another CB injury last night, so CPA is proving depth. 10th graders are still the best class ever at CPA. The seniors are a great example and leaders for the talent under them. Boog needs 2 friends to make him bibilical as in 3 wise men from the East. Oakland looks to be a loss, not sure about LA yet.
  10. my #1 reason to be and donate to CoachT, Boog who is my favorite read and fills in all the mysteries of the East. LA handed PA a real arse kicking and those kids are still playing Kevin Kelly football via new coach Anthony Lucas. Started close and Dilfer rolled em, no punts all onsides got blasted. LA and CPA on neuclear collision course.

    D2 AAA

if CPA had Ensworth on schedule like usual then CPA could be divII AAA testing ground, but they only get MBA and BA in not their stellar years. Def fell that LA and CPA could hold their own in AAA this year. All CPA kids train by playing all the future AAA teams as youngsters and they have always held their own and won more than lost. Hard to figure AAA this year, not much in the West and Chattanooga is hit or miss as is mid TN.

and CPA pulls it out 21-17 as both teams mounted a lot of offense in the last 2 1/2 minutes. Langston Patterson ran over and around and through to complete a 35 second drive that put CPA up by 4. BA gets down to the 4 with 9 seconds left and fumbles on the next sweep play with Langston prying it loose inside out and a soph CB laid the wood to the ball which CPA got and Ingle played balls and snapped deep to Cade Law who finished the game with about a 40 yard run. Confidence and crazy if soemthing had happened on the snap which was a CPA bugaboo all night long. Dominant opening drive and then good D with a pick which led to a second drive flubbed by 2 dropped passes then a bad snap and a blocked punt gave BA position and they took it in from about the 20. Patterson did miss a tackle in the hole on 3rd down which would have changed the TD to a FG. BA kicker was as good as anyone on the field at doing his job. Very impressive. See the free kick after a high snap and weak punt was fair caught. The ref crew nullified a long CPA play deep into BA territory for a mystery foul that they looked lost on trying to get their call in agreement. Took 50 yard play off the board for 5 yard mystery penalty which to the best of my analysis had to be illegal formation, just a guess because they gave no signal just 2 long expalantions to CPA sideline during stoppage in play. Truly strange. CPA had the better lines and Reid Williford looks like a weapon for Cade Law, even though Sonny Moore had CPA way above BA it never felt like it and felt like BA was under pressure to not lose to a lower class school in Nasvhille. Langston Patterson took the game over and made the CPA offense much more dangerous and same time covered the D like would be expected by his recruitment. Several sophs and juniors stepped up which portends well for the ongoing CPA success. As long as not flushed the BA QB read the D well and threw to the right spots. BA cramped up like crazy all night on a very fast and dry fiels. NO CPA subterfuge. Last 2 1/2 minutes were a thrill on each play and had to be an absolute heartbreak for BA, while most CPA fans will think we deserved the game on merit. Refs did not screw it but they detracted from quality of play and seemed like an unorganized crew who sweated bullets and sucked wind. Great competition with tons of baseball talent on the field for both sides. Spring rematch?
  13. Im an AR and no she would not have fit Colby Hale system, Podojil is also a track star and she fits. Wish the blue eyed Caroline would have gone to the Hill.
  14. Betts committed to Vandy, feels like a good fit. Caroline is smarter than a whip, over 4.0+ with emphasis on Science and Math, got her mothers brains and is just a natural scorer.
  15. ended as started with long CPA control drives, we missed Mav Rodgriguez immensely but the power change that began after lipscomb1 continued to the finish. Now on to Drew Maddux and his collection of 3 point gunners. Best team to come for CPA is still fall 2023 for the senior class of 2024. Today is the culmination of the 0-5 2019 start, proving that you gotta play up to prove yourself. BGA or LA both have been great city competition and Goodpasture is on the righ track, so the crown is a bit uneast on CPA head. Not sure about a next year repeat but is totally possible as this years undefeated frosh filter in. Law and Patterson will be a great start. The ref crew was pretty awful and worse looked like a crew of baby Hueys in penguin suits, nice weather for a change.
