The coach has already called West Greene back and decided he did not want to be the football coach....so WG is open again.

North Greene pretty much returns everyone including Mr Basketball finalist. Hampton moving up to 2A will make things much easier for teams on the east side.

Coalfield played Greeneville this afternoon and lost 4-3. Greeneville is a favorite to win the whole thing in AAA. Coalfield has to be the favorite in the East with almost everyone else being down.

Hampton looking good. Love the way they get after it and share the ball.

NG middle has a ton of softball talent right now mostly in 7th grade with a stud in 6th and 8th. They will be very very good by the time they are juniors and seniors. They don’t play basketball either LOL

You have to play for a high school between Memphis and Knoxville….they claim it’s not a team or post season award but that’s BS. Her stats were much better than the other two.

Looks like NG plan backfired on them. Now they have to go through Hampton to get to sub state / regional championship.

BREAKING: 2024 IMG 4-star WR Brandon Winton Jr will head back to Tennessee and attend Alcoa High School (TN). The star wide receiver was originally at The Webb School of Knox before transferring to IMG Academy (FL).

There’s zero chance Baugh starts over Cannon. Cannon could have easily been the starter last year with a different last name.

Tyner is also open now

Tyner is now open after their coach stepped down to be closer to home.

They are playing at Washburn so that will definitely help them. Ultimately, I see district 1 getting two teams to the region championship and possibly two at state if someone can go on the road and beat Oneida.

NG has 4 seniors and only 9 players. The feeder school doesn’t have any 8th grade girls that play basketball so James is gonna have to hit the transfer portal and autobahn to find some help.

Did not see CD girls beating Hampton tonight.

She was a player that’s for sure. Had surgery today not sure how long she will be out (really good softball player) but her basketball season is over.

Yepp have been able to watch his team play in person at Clarkrange and it’s such a unique and fun environment to play in.

With Buchanan, Matt, Carp, and chambers that might be the best coaching district in the whole state. Boys and girls

Yepp seems like they’re finally getting healthy and hitting their stride. Beating Hampton up there will be a tall task but you never know.

According to a source in roan mountain, the district tourney has been moved to west ridge
