I don’t think we have any girls sick? Not the last I heard anyway. I look for Macon County to keep playing amazing ball and win it all! My first round winners are Macon (10+), Cheatham(5-10), DeKalb (10+), and South Greene (too close to guess). Expect a very entertaining first round!

How has this worked in years prior? Have results shown the winner being previously nominated or have there been winners to come out of nowhere?

Greetings friends! It’s time someone breaks the ice and brings up the early conversation of who could possibly be finalists in each class. I would love to hear your opinions.

The referee I know for a fact that had called the foul tonight which has called all of this ruckus called other games at that the state tournament too. I wonder how she called in those games?

I am from the Cumberland area and I have watched Upperman for several years now, I do not believe the referees handled the end of regular regulation like they should have. Foul or no foul. But we can not take away from either of the two teams for how great of a game it was!

I don’t know if people are more upset over the foul call or the Upperman coach going ballistic and not getting a technical. If I had to make any argument it wouldn’t be over the foul called it would be over the coach going bananas and not getting hit with the T.

I have to agree with you! Yes the girl shooting missed two of her free throws, but I would have assumed Macon County would have put their best free throw shooter to the line for the technical free throws to potentially hit them and seal the deal and call it a ball game, and a gold ball.

It was but they did not name it correctly! Instead of it saying Upperman vs Macon County, it said Riverdale vs Houston.

That Greenfield group sure is fun to watch! They have a new fan! Congratulations to them!

First of all, CONGRATS to the Lady Bees for their 2018 Championship! Their hardwork this season has officially been rewarded! Also big congrats to Macon for their run and finish, Cumberland is SO proud of both teams! But, how can Upperman’s coach think it was ok to grab the referee, and jump in their face 3 maybe 4 times and not get a technical? I think that was the turning point in what could have possibly been Macon’s potential win. I am not taking anything away from Upperman, but I think a technical should have been given. Just a person opinion.

I was not able to attend the Cumberland/Bledsoe County game tonight the crud has me down for the count! But what is going on? Opinions or thoughts from anyone at the game as to why the score is what it is?

If CC makes it to state (not saying I do not want them to) they are going to have to do a better job at taking care of the ball! Teams at state feast on turnovers. With that said, ALL teams looking to be at the Glass House have something to work on during this postseason, and can easily come in and drop some mouths. It is apart of what makes the road to state fun, so buckle up ladies and gentleman.

Can anyone provide information as to how often it’s occurred two girls from the same school have been nominated? Also how likely is Greenfield to be in Murfreesboro come March? I would love to watch them play! Congratulations to Pritchett, proud of you and go Bobcats!
