Several quality assistant coaches left completely by choice, including the OC under Coach Webb who totally transformed Franklin's offense into the number 1 passing offense in the state a year ago. I hear Melton is doing a good job with what he has, but it could be a tough year for the newly named Admirals.

Both are great players and great kids. I don't see the QB playing QB in college, but is definitely athletic enough to contribute somewhere.

I'm not a Riverdale fan, but they have both Herring twins returning who are being recruited by everyone, both RB's returning, a stud inside linebacker, and more. I really don't know what you are basing that off of. I think you're wearing rose colored classes. They will probably go down hill after this year, but they are loaded this year.

If this is the case, how did y'all hire a guy who had a losing record at a small school? The school went 10-1 under the coach before him. You can lose at a small school and then get rewarded by getting one of the better 6a jobs in the state????This guy can self promote like nobodys business.

He was only at Ravenwood for one year, but he helped set a culture that would turn Ravenwood from a high class program under Hester to a low class program under Daniels. Thankfully, Hester is back and we no longer have a program like that in Williamson County. I also heard his team in Alabama was extremely undisciplined and led the state in personal fouls.

Completely agree. I follow this guy on twitter and I can see the egotism. They will replace Ravenwood as the Mid-State good, but low class program everyone hates. This guy thrives on that though, and they might have success; but he is going to do it by running a low class program.

Give him this year before you make a major judgment. 1st year was going to be a major struggle no matter what. 2nd year they had major COVID issues late. This year there will be no excuses.

The 2014 team was loaded. The 2015 team didn't have Van and I believe the tackles graduated with Van also. The QB was a very good high school player, but didn't go on to play college ball. Ron also coached Brentwood in 2015 which was a rebuilding year. Daniels did do a good job at acquiring talent and making it a place where everyone wants to go and play. It has always been my position that the lack of discipline hindered Ravenwood from reaching their full potential the last two years.

Exactly. Daniel's 2019 team was arguably the most talented Williamson County team in a loooong time and got KILLED by Maryville. Hester beat them in 2015 with a less talented team. Yes, he had Chris Rowland who's a stud, but the overall team wasn't near as talented as the 2019 Ravenwood team. Last years team was also very talented and they lost to a far less talented Franklin team. Not debatable at all, Boo has something against Hester and Creasy lol.

Good hire. This county has some really good coordinators ready to be head coaches, and he's one of them. According to the article, he lives in Franklin so he will probably be here for the long haul which is probably what they wanted.
