  1. My mistake. It was so early in the season it didn’t cross my mind.
  2. I hope Mt. Juliet earned some respect from this season. Especially with them having the tightest game Oakand had all season as well as in the playoffs if I recall correctly. It was a dogfight for sure. With that being said though, however, I have the utmost respect for both Oakland and Whitehaven. Both teams have had tremendous seasons! Congrats to Oakland for the win!
  3. If MJ starts strong & plays like they did vs Hendersonville & Cookeville, I firmly believe they have the opportunity to win friday night. It’ll most definitely be a closer game that most people have predicted so far. Turnovers & Penalties should ultimately determine the outcome. Good luck to both teams!
  4. Will be a monsterous crowd, and televised as well. Definitely a big game for both teams.
  5. Uno vez más, I hate to be the bearer of bad news....Again, I do appreciate his support for our team. I’m just apart of the current program & here to support it.
  6. Lebanon & Hendersonville are on the schedule. Two pretty solid teams. To 6A standards, I understand if you feel they aren’t top tier, but they’re definitely up close to there & solid measuring sticks. Hendersonville especially.
  7. I hate to be there bearer of bad news, but I’m not Trey Perry, or @MJGOLDENBEARS. Again, Im grateful for Coach T’s part in our program & grateful for the other’s support. I am apart of the program, but I am neither of those two foresaid. I’m just here to shed light on behalf of the program I’m apart of.
  8. No sir, I am not associated with him whatsoever. However, I am very much so associated with the current team. Regardless, I appreciate his support for us. As I said in my most recent response, Spring practice or not, it’s still a match versus a team that played in the state title last year, with plenty of returning starters/seniors. We beat them, by a whole dang lot, and that deserves recognition. Again, I agree that we don’t play a tough schedule. There is no hiding that, but Mt Juliet is a solid team & most definitely something 6A should not underestimate.
  9. You are incorrect. MJ did beat them 48-7. My mistake on them being in a different region, but regardless, Cane Ridge is no slouch team. Again, they competed in the state championship last year. Spring Practice or not, it’s very much still something that deserves recognition.
  10. Definitely will be a good game, injuries are highly expected & that is my biggest concern. As it should be for all coaches.
  11. Mt. Juliet scrimmaged Cane Ridge in spring practice, and beat them 48-7. They also blew Siegel out in the second spring scrimmage. Thats two rutherford county teams, one which competed in the state title games last season. I completely agree that the regular season schedule is uncompetitive, but Perry made up for that in the spring & fall scrimmages in pre-season. Mt. Juliet is a force to be reckoned with without a doubt. Lebanon & Hendersonville have pretty solid teams this year, and those two games will be good for Mt. Juliet as they enter the playoffs.
