Betsy the underdog? They are the 2x defending state champs. The West side of the bracket has won 1 title in the last 10 years. This is Tullahoma’s first ever trip to the title game. Betsy is king until someone can beat them when it matters. I think these are 2 evenly matched teams and, like everyone else, will be the best game of the weekend. This will come down to, can Tullahoma control its emotions or does experience prevail. Both defenses will steal the show in this one.

Let me make sure I have this right. Pearl Cohn played awful in the first half. Pearl Cohn made adjustments. Pearl Cohn didn’t have everyone for the first match up. If Brown wouldn’t have needed a breather or cramped, Tullahoma would have lost. Tullahoma shouldn’t be here. No one is giving Tullahoma a shot in this game. Do I have everything right? According to all of this, Tullahoma doesn’t even need to show up. Could it be Tullahoma had a little something to do with the way Pearl Cohn played? Pearl Cohn did make adjustments, as most teams do, but when the opposing offense gets a little conservative, it makes things look a tad different. Who besides maybe #88 was missing for the first matchup? All the top stat guys seemed to have played the previous meeting. As far as the fumble with Brown out, Tullahoma’s defense made a play and knocked the ball loose. Like last week, Hardin County had 2 costly mistakes, or was that Pearl Cohn making plays? It works both ways. Either way you slice it, an L is still an L. There are many “what if’s” to every ballgame on both sides. I think I will still show up Friday night hoping to watch a game Tullahoma shouldn’t even be in according to some. See everyone Friday.

You got me. All the way down to the brown nose. Welcome to the board or is it simply a name change? You only post in Tullahoma threads, so I assume you live there or have an axe to grind because of something in the past. I’m glad Tullahoma has fans like you in the stands cheering for them to fail.

False. The seniors left practice and the grounds and went and practiced off campus on their own. The seniors did their punishment last night. As far as the senior football players, the matter is closed. They are focused on Montgomery Central Friday night. I think we all need to do the same and cheer them on instead of trying to bring unnecessary drama to a message board.

Tullahoma was without 2 starters on offense in the first meeting. Even with a couple of guys missing, the offensive side of the ball still scored 23 points. If Tullahoma would not have tried a trick play on the opening kickoff, Montgomery Central would not have scored. I understand teams can get better as the season goes, but Tullahoma is back full strength and looked the best I have seen them, of late, this past Friday night. The offense was balanced with the run and pass until the starters came out. The defense played lights out and special teams didn’t allow a kick to be returned. Tullahoma 49-7.

On paper, this game should not be close. This is Tullahoma's last true test of the season and this is the first of Montgomery Central's gauntlet of 3 games. This game will be closer than some may think. I am not sure of MC's school schedule but Tullahoma has been on fall break all week. This game will come down to how focused Tullahoma is coming in and if they can control MC's running game. Tullahoma has faced a similar style of offense in Creekwood, but MC seems to have better athletes running it. In the end, Tullahoma wins this one 28-7. Survive and move on and get some guys healthy for the playoffs.

Tullahoma is coming off a big win last week and will more than likely host another undefeated team next week in Montgomery Central. Hillwood is a true trap game for Tullahoma. Saying that, Hillwood does not have the firepower to stay with Tullahoma. The Wildcats will get a lot of kids playing time tonight, but It won't be a ridiculous score. I will go with Tullahoma 42 Hillwood 7.

I fall into that category. This is the biggest game of the year in Region 5. I think this is winner take all and the loser gets to travel after the 1st round of the playoffs. I agree win or lose, these 2 teams will meet again in the playoffs if everyone stays healthy and barring that c word as referenced. I have a feeling special teams is going to play a major factor in this game. Kickoffs and punts will be key. I'll take Tullahoma 31 PC 28. FG late to win it. Go Go Hoagies N' More is bringing a truck for pregame tonight, if you wanted to take in the homecoming atmosphere before the game. If not, you can't beat London's. Bar with great food.

Tullahoma is coming off a bye week, which will make for a long rest of the season. Tullahoma typically has a hard time getting moving after a bye week, but this is Marshall County week. Tullahoma used the run game against Shelbyville and the passing attack against CC. Which one will MC try to take away? MC seems to be playing with a WR turned QB the last couple of games. Can Tullahoma make them one-dimensional? If QB1 does not play, it could be tough sledding for MC in this one. MC has some speed and playmakers at RB and WR, but if Tullahoma can bottle up the run game and maintain the edges, I don't see the WR/QB beating Tullahoma thru the air. I'll take Tullahoma 35-14
