I like Huntingdon in this matchup, and I'm not saying that because I am a fan. Mustangs have a ton of returning players, and like Croppy mentioned, these young men have changed their bodies. Most of the kids have put on good weight and overall look much more mature than last year. Team speed will be improved. McKenzie will have Surber as their star. If he had the same line as last year, I would be much more concerned, but with a new regime I am confident we will be able to get after the quarterback. I hope McKenzie fans don't take that like I am talking down about their new lineman stepping in. It's a compliment to the great lineman that they graduated this past year and what the Mustangs have coming back.

There is talent on our team, but that talent is mostly sophomores and Juniors. Let's not act like we didn't just play the most talented team we will see all year? D backs are 10 yards off the ball because we are slower and smaller than McKenzie's guys on the outside. If we got up in their face and played man defense, we would get torched deep every single play. That 10 yard cushions helps so that our db's can at least make a play on catches in front of them. I agree that we play too conservative at times which costs us games in the playoffs, but if you think for a second that we we lost that game just because of coaching then you don't know squat about football. It stings a little bit to say, but McKenzie is a senior heavy team who went to state last year and have every one of their studs back. They are just a better team right now. The Mustangs will be fine. They are young, and this year they will gain a lot of experience for the years to come.

Mustangs are playing good football right now. Cade with 5 touchdowns this half! Union City has so many young players on their team. They are going to be a force the next couple of years. R7 is going to be so competitive over these next 4 years.

Yes, heard from a Mckenzie fan this morning that he is starting at corner and gets a few carries at running back. If he sticks it out these next four years and develops the way he should, he will be a big problem.
