Who is Mark Wilson? Have known him for many years, he is one that needs to be back on staff. A good one for sure!!! Unfortunately for Gallatin, they dont play 1A/2A as do the Jackets! They have had trouble beating lower class teams the last few years like Springfield! Sources say not all that much talent coming, per freshmen last year! We needed a big name coach whose name would bring in some talent. Watson is not that and evidently was way down the list according to coaching circles! I HOPE he does well, but we will probably be going thru this again sooner than later! Wave can put on the rose colored glasses if you wish! Question is What has changed? At one time coaches would have been fighting for this one! GO JACKETS!

Too bad Gallatin has NOT looked like big boy football for nearly 25 years! The more things change the more they stay the same! Dr SATT will get a GOOD one, but question is how long will he stay. WE NEED continuity as much as anything at this point! $$$ needs to be there, fans be supportive less abusive (only a handful) but a BIG negative week after week! A GREAT JOB, but room for improvement! GO JACKETS!

I am sure he did, but the WAVE have numerous problems! Biggest being they will go 6A in two years, barring a TSSAA screwup, which is due! Can't win in 5A, will not in 6A! Doubt he will be there long, as his defense at East was porous at best. Gallatin being Gallatin! GO JACKETS!

NOT IMPRESSED! DC could not win at East, OC Wilson decent in lower class, Watson has done nothing special! Most of those I am around just see more of the same. Only time will tell. GO JACKETS!

TSSAA should have done right by Eagleville! Should be 1A! They rarely get it right thou! GO JACKETS!

I think Wes is back in town, great offense mind. Do not know his interest. After that I would say Brown,Dobbs would be my top 2 from that list. THERE will be other good ones apply, BUT no one will stay long with LOW PAY, high expectations, and manner in which a few Jacket fans act like IDIOTS. How does the salary compare with others in the area? I hear there may be other changes to the staff as well! What i would give for the good ole days of JIMB! GO JACKETS!

Should be done every 2 years. TSSAA at its BEST. INCOMPETENCE at its best. When revenue gets short enough to hurt their salarys, then you will see something happen!

PC, i think has had tremendous success lately. 3A belongs to Alcoa, then theres everyone else. Recruiting bit is just a part of METRO, unfortunately. Agree assistants should be loyal, BUT if you look around many HC changes the past couple years are the result of backstabbing assistant that cant get a job any other way! GOOD luck to Brunetti! IMO Gallatin should have taken him, not last man standing! GO JACKETS!

GWAVE 1, I am beginning to see how clueless you truly are. You did have me fooled for awhile. Not too many happy people at meet and greet for your guy. GHS is a sad state of affairs these days, really not very successful athletically or academically. Got to be killing those old school Wave fans! I do hope your coach can turn it around but lots of things working against it. GO JACKETS and WAVE!

Wesleys job to turn down! Great offense mind. No Dr Satt will get a quality coach, some however will not want it because of him! Too intimidating for many, so it will take someone who can handle that pressure and the pressure to win. No idea about the salary, but it needs to be competitive if we expect anyone from the outside to stay. GO JACKETS!

Problem throughout the state. Even traditional schools who love football have seen a decline. I know we have at TCHS! Many reasons for this. $$$, football interest waning, health concerns, rosters in decline, more for families to do, more things being offered in school (SOCIETY HAS CHANGED). Afraid the good ole days are over! GO JACKETS!

Most of us saw this coming, not a surprise at all! He did a fine job IMO! Who will be next? Satt#1, Satt#2, Wilson, Jackson? Throw some names out? Outsiders will not stay if something is not done about pay! Has schedule been filled for next year? Think we will have a good year! GO JACKETS!
