Not sure you can put this on the QB. Not as sharp as in the past but 4 team turnovers and most of them put the Dale in the short side of the field. Then throw in Oakland driving the field with ease on those that started on their side. What? 1 punt? For some reason the moisture effected RHs a lot more. Slipping everywhere, dropping handoffs, and a blocked punt. Yeah not just your QB.

Your boys didn’t quit. That’s something to hang your hat on. It was what 50-24 late and got it down to a 5 point game.

It was definitely an exciting game. Honest question. Do you think the pace on offense at this point is too fast even for your younger offensive guys? Seems in the 3rd and 4th they played tired? I know Rockvale’s D was. Saw it a lot on the 2pt conversions especially. Heck I think even the officials were winded. I just think when your guys get older and their legs and conditioning built up the system will make you guys a major player again. Good luck the rest of the way!

Absolutely! equally matched in different ways.

Rockvale’s most talented player is still at Rockvale. They did lose one of their better players to BHS in the offseason for sure and would like to have him back this year. But for some reason it’s not a position they emphasize much. Hope he’s shining for the Blaze because he’s a good kid. Blaze stronger and faster? We’ll see. Bigger? Maybe so. Maybe not. Carlton Flatt won a ton of trophies with smaller linemen. That line is good on both sides. Agree with B45, it’s going to come down to the Blaze’s passing game and the Blaze’s defense. Last year Rock’s passing D was not existent. Started that way this year. A light bulb went off about the 2nd game and it’s been much much better. But I can guarantee Rockvale doesn’t play like they’re just glad to be there this year. Should be a good game for sure.

This game could be a high scoring game for both teams, a blowout for either, or just as easily a low scoring tight game. Although I’d beat the money on the over. Ha! Truly think SC, Blackman, and Rockvale are equally matched with different strengths. Unfortunately one of those three will not continue on in the playoffs. Should be entertaining game AND final three weeks. Stay healthy and good luck B45.

Rockvale is a lot better. Those Freshmen and Sophomores are now bigger experienced Juniors and mainly seniors. The line is big although not huge but on both sides of the ball they are their strength. They are good. Got some talented RB’s and when 7 is on he is on. Soph QB Mayhew has a great arm and will hit you in stride. The Sr QB is more of a runner which he does well. Mayhew has actually pushed the Sr to be a better passer which he has. LBs get to the ball. The secondary is much improved but that is where they get in trouble. Offensively Rockvale will mash you. Defensively the pass is their Achilles heel.

I would think winning the 2 remaining Region games matter more. Beat both siegel and Rockvale and you’re in from what I see. Why play it. Rest up and get healthy. Total wins I believe only come into the equation in the event of a three way tie. Which I don’t think there can be with SC playing one less region game.

On D they are not huge but they are fast. Multiple studs on that side of the ball. You can’t scheme for each one of them. The whole D flocks to the ball better than any team I’ve seen. A different guy will bust up the play each time. They are disciplined and just flat out get after it. Like has been said they return most on O. Excellent RB who glides and some great WR’s. The QB I think is an improvement from last year even though they are just going to pound you. A big solid kid and I think he’s just a junior. Haven’t seen Maryville this year so I don’t know how they compare but we’ll see first hand this year for sure.

1st loss in 2 years. Nothing to hang your heads about Maryville. Those Patriots are a hard hitting very good team. Beat Brentwood.

Any local tv broadcasting for this game? Share a link. It’s on NFHS but I’ve been having problems with some of their broadcasts lately. Will be watching in middle Tennessee oh and good luck to both teams.

Great season WC. Exciting hard hitting team. Know you guys are losing a lot but you have some talent coming back. Just got to get more kids out to play. Too many kids going both ways and special teams. That LB 24, I believe, ain’t the biggest kid but he’s a heck of a player himself.

DB you put a scare in ‘em. But like everyone else said the play calling killed you in the end. It should’ve been a heavy dose of that QB.

I like this Warren County team. I really do. For many reasons. But Oakland big in this one. They are just too athletic. They can afford to play may coverage and stack the box to stop Taylor.

Like FME said, where? Backup the comment. If this is the case then as a parent of a son who plays a contact sport I’d like to know. It would be good to know. Most of us can be objective. But without the knowledge how can we? Not many argues that it’s a thing. But to what level. That’s the dispute.

Trying to follow along here but is it a known fact Covington filed the complaint or is it a general assumption? I have a lot of respect for Milan teams all the way back to those Tucker teams that I played against so not trying to be a wise butt. Just curious.

As far as pantries go, Forrest never pulls some from Lewisburg?

Don’t know how many cooped at Eagleville this year but usually they’d get 3 or 4 at best. Usually it’s a kicker from the soccer team if anything. One year it was a 3rd team QB who had never played football much less QB. This will probably sound bad but Central is a smart kid school. Most of those kids don’t want to play football much less drive 30 miles one way to do it.

At Rockvale at a minimum it’s a handful of coaches. Not sure any players tested positive. It’s all still coming out. But players who have been around those coaches have to be quarantined too.
