Unfortunately for the Eagles, the Patriots will be prepared this year. Last year won't repeat itself!

Personally my opinion is with our first round bye and fairly easy 2nd and 3rd rounds I think it helps us a lot. We will still be pretty fresh. Beech or Summit will be coming off a tough game no doubt. Advantage Patriots.

I agree with this. If we had some of those tough games later in the season I would like our chances in most of them especially this year. My personal opinion is that whoever wins Summit or Beech will of course be the favorite in our game but I can't see either one of those teams beating the other AND beating us in back to back weeks. That's tough!!! And if they did they would HAVE to be the favorite going into Cookeville. I dont know about our chances with Summit, outside of the twins I know hardly anything about them. Beech on the other hand I feel like we have a great shot at beating them. That week 2 game was more of a scrimmage than anything being the way the season started with practice and stuff.

For sure!! One last thing from me....the only meeting that I know Henry County and Beech met in the playoffs Henry County won in the semifinals to go to Cookeville in 2018. Lol so we are 1-0 in the playoffs against Beech I had to....lol

Especially when we are THIS confident in our team. Last time I was this confident was in 2018. I love where we are at. Nothing more could be asked of anybody right now. We play and execute like we have been, everything will work in our favor.

I know yall are but I cant see Beech beating this team this time around. I just can't. It will be hard for Beech to do it twice in the same season. Especially with the way we are playing now. That's not being biased that's just telling you what I have seen from this team from week 2 till now. I have seen every game and its night and day difference.

Let your statement be a lesson that we around here already learned last year. Just because you beat a team very early in the season (and this year we had very very little prep time going into the season) doesn't mean you will beat them in the playoffs. Last year we destroyed Dyer County in the regular season and then they got better throughout the season and came into the playoffs on fire and beat us. If you think this is the same Henry County team that yall faced back in August at Milan you will be sadly mistaken. This team is head and shoulders above where we was then. If Henry County and Beech makes the playoffs I'm calling it right now, Henry County will win that game and it may not be as close as people think.

Facts. Our side of the bracket needs to make sure they bring home the gold ball. Whoever it is.

Chances are Haywood and Brentwood will be in the 4A and 6A semifinals. Beech also has a shot to be in the 5A semifinals. Nuff said.

HC scores at least 40 again. Wouldnt be at all surprised if we hit the 50 point mark again. These boys are on fire. No matter who you play it's still impressive to score over 50 as many times as we have this year.

And I will say this. I dont see Beech beating both Summit and Henry County in back to back games. BUT if a miracle happens and they do Beech would have to be the favorite to win it all.

He is kinda right tho, Brentwood, Haywood, and Beech are still playing. Who's left on Beechs schedule??? Henry County is the only one I can find. Sorry not sorry, truth hurts.

Hey Henry County fans, can yall tell how salty other people are of our situation? I think it is hilarious!!! Not only have we had a first round bye but a fairly easy 2nd and 3rd round!!! I think it is amazing!! I love that our road to the semifinals ticks other people off this much!!! And the thing about it all, there is nothing wrong with it, it's just the way it worked out this year!!! I love it!!!

I see a somewhat lower scoring game. Something like 21-17 and right now I have no idea who will win. It's a toss up. I lean towards Beech very slightly.

Over the course of the season NE has had the best defense in our region besides us. I know it doesn't seem like it because we put up 58 on them but they have been solid. Henry County is just that much better this year though

Easy schedule? That's why we schedule tough non region games. Haywood, Beech, Brentwood, and Gallatin (even though they are down a bit)

We always get that same ole talk about "easiest region" blah blah. We have heard it a million times. You act like we can pick and choose what region we are in. We have no control over that. We just play who they put in front of us. It's part of being a 5A school in Northwest Tennessee. It is what it is.

Wow. Kinda surprised with some of the responses. I figured this will be a close game coming down to the wire.
