Talked to my Meigs guy tonight and making plans for the trip to Decatur. Talk was keys to the game? The thought was who’s got the best defense? I got to watch some film of both teams and here’s what I think. The front line of Meigs with 19 and 8 are as good as you see in 2A. #1 is quick as lightening. All excellent with contain and shedding blocks. In the middle #12 is a rock solid stud that’s just nasty. Had double didget tackles vs Tyner. The secondary is very talented. #3 and #15 are tough as they come. Playmakers. I watched the Meigs film when they played Marion and Tyner. Trousdale front is solid with 50 and 55 and 52 and 63 and 99 looking to be the top Dawgs. Inside 40 and 6 I believe are very instinctive. 6 has good speed and a nasty streak. Not as good as Meigs inside but very solid. The back 4 of TC are fast and physical. Very similar to Meigs. With all that I give a slight edge to the Meigs defense.Plus they are playing at Home. Thoughts and picks?

That’s odd. He can still play every snap and run but not effective because of some weird suspicion injury? That just weird. Hope the kid gets better . Maybe the kid is better. Who knows

I’m going to the other big game this week at Meigs but planing on watching the winners play next week! how about a game report? Injuries? Ect?

I sure hate that for the young man. Hopefully he will be ok soon. That’s a tough prediction with Watertown and Marion still to go. Also, south green and Hampton will be hungry at home in the semifinals. But if I had to make a prediction I would say your right. You are a ok dude in my book. But based on the game being at Meigs and one of your best lineman out for the game I’m leaning Meigs by 4. Something like 24-20

I’ve decided to attend the Meigs vs Trousdale game this Friday night. Going to travel over the river to watch a classic. Hope to meet a couple of you guys. How bout some game reports? Predictions? Injuries? How’s the kid from Trousdale that got hurt Friday?

Watertown has a good offense for sure. I look for another early playoff exit by Bledsoe as usual. Looking down the road I agree with you 21 point mark. But good luck with that when you roll into Meigs. They punched Marion in the mouth and pitched a shutout. Good matchups to watch

Sounds like this was a good ole fashioned whipping went down in Marion last night. I missed the game but talked to my buddy who was there. I believe Meigs is the real deal. With home field they will be tough to oust. That coaching staff has build a monster across the river!

Easy now. We have a good defense. The offense has improved as the season progressed. We’re Not a bad football team!

Tyner is going to be-a tough out! Seems you all are getting more steam as the season goes Nobody will wanna play ya in the playoffs

Yea Marion will boat race Tyner. The Ram train will get derailed by 2-3 touchdowns playing this valley football.. Tyner is a fraud and Marion will expose them Friday night!
