Congrats to the Pirates. Deserve the championship. McKenzie earned their way to today’s game and came up against the better team. Proud of the Rebels and wouldn’t be surprised to be watching them in this game again next year.

He has done a lot with a little over the years but it would be hard to argue that this season wasn’t his most impressive. I would say one of the strongest aspects of his coaching is to be able to adapt his offensive styles to the skillset of his players. He has had success with run heavy, pass heavy, and now spread/RPO. Not bad for an ol’ boy from Parsons.

We are all homers at heart but good luck to Dawson with Mr. Football. Deserves it based on this years success alone but even more when you consider he whole HS career. It has already been said but this has to be the best coaching performance of Comer’s career.
