  2. According to The Oak Ridger this morning "the contract is with Baseline Sports Construction of Knoxville. The funding will come from a combination of State money and funds raised by the Blankenship Field Revitalization Foundation per Jon Hetrick, Oak Ridge Parks and Recreation Director."
  3. Oak Ridge City Council voted in December to approve a contract to"repair" the walking track at Blankenship "park?". $50k . Ok...
  4. Thanks for the heads up. We just watched it and are looking forward to more Wildcat Football! RWR!
  5. Coach Joe Gaddis is part of Oak Ridge Football History. Cheers to him and to having a spare minute now to breathe and enjoy his dogs. I'm sure he still won't be able to sleep during football season. RWR!
  6. I just watched the interview with David. Dr Adams made a good hire. Once again, "Welcome to Oak Ridge Wildcat Football, Coach Cummings!" RWR!
  7. Congratulations Coach Cummings on your new job! Welcome to Oak Ridge Wildcat Football. Merry Christmas! RWR!
  8. I've watched Clinton for decades, to include the awesome teams they have had a few times. I always enjoy the rivalry games except when tempers flare. I have seen Clinton kids heading to Anderson County and Grace in Karns and a few other schools occasionally. With facilities, money and community support I'm just not sure why they haven't been more successful.
  9. PS - you never know... They could be double agents...
  10. I'm wondering if Clinton will give jobs to the coaches who work at Oak Ridge to ensure their continued loyalty to the Dragons?
  11. I agree that it hurts the program and can take a long time to recover. RWR! ...and... Go Army beat Navy!
  12. That is very likely and welcome. RWR!
  13. It looks like a certain poser/poster will need to find another old man to obsess about. It's actually creepy/very strange.
  14. His love and dedication to Oak Ridge has and will keep him here. RWR!
  15. Joe is a good friend and I am happy for him to retire from a 24/7 job as head coach of The Oak Ridge Wildcats. A legend moves on, and a new chapter for the Wildcats begins! As always... RWR!
