  1. One has to push himself to the limit to win Mr. Basketball and thus later in life tends to push students/players to their limit so they can achieve their best. Little Johnny’s mommy and daddy tend to dislike this approach in today’s land of the free & home of the brave + snowflakes.
  2. Danielson Man who catch fly with chopstick, accomplish anything. USA accomplish anything.
  3. During the Obama / Biden administration, from April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010 in the United States alone, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases, 274,304 hospitalizations, and 12,469 deaths in the US due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus. Additionally, CDC estimated that up to 575,000 people worldwide died from (H1N1)pdm09 virus infection during just the first year of the virus. The media did not blame or criticize Obama / Biden, and sleepy Joe did none of the things he claims he would do now. The world did not stop, countries did not shut down, businesses and shops did not close, the markets did not crash, the FED did not cut rates by 100basis points down to 0%, travel was not halted, businesses did not close, the Supreme Court did not shut down, public and private events were not banned, people did not go home from work, etc. The same can be said about the 1957 H2N2 pandemic, and the 1968 H3N2 pandemic. Either give Trump the credit he deserves for taking these drastic measures surely in your best interests or admit you are a biased Dem that cares only about party and not about country. Read last paragraph again and make a choice - 1. credit to Trump or 2. admit you are biased.
  4. Danielsons It’s okay to lose to opponent, it’s never okay to lose to fear.
  5. What no one has talked about at all is the decision TSSAA made to extend the basketball season 1 more week. Had they left it alone, we would all know who the girl champions are in all classifications. We would also be down to the Final 4 in the boys and TSSAA would surely find a way to finish. Decisions have consequences and that one has turned out to be devastating.
  6. Danielson We make sacred pact. I promise teach karate to you, you promise learn. I say, you do, no questions.

  8. Knew it would make perfect sense to a true basketball intellect like you Greenfieldfan.
  9. Correct me if my 2nd / 3rd hand info is incorrect. Loretto’s point guard - 1st game of season- played 10 min - game was played at Gibson Co HS which essentially made it a home game for Greenfield versus a 3 hour drive for the Loretto team. Now imagine those factors I just mentioned were reversed and Chloe - 1st game of season - 10 min played - 3 hour drive. Loretto would have beat them by 30 in that scenario therefore they should let Clarkrange play Loretto for the gold ball.
  10. They should award the gold ball to Clarkrange or Loretto. Personally i think Clarkrange looked like the best team and after doing a little research on that Greenfield/Loretto game my reasoning will make sense.
  11. Danielson - lesson 1 never misspell first word of sentence Danielson - lesson 2 lie become truth only if person want to believe it
  12. And Yes, this virus is a serious problem....Too bad libs won't send a bill to fund this country without including monies for tax-payer abortions and other PORK spending they've wanted for decades....They really care about the American people. UNIMANE: That would be Nancy Pelosi in case you didn’t get the hit on your FB.
  13. Unimane You didn’t answer my questions, 2 valid questions. Did you continue to live your life? Why didn’t the media go into a frenzy when the same thing happened under Obama? Since you couldn’t answer those, maybe you can answer this. Would you rather all Americans continue with economic success and have a job even if they have to start at the bottom OR send 8 million people back to food stamps ?
  14. You are making my point. Did you stop living your life when you found out a family member had the flu (which kills 10s of thousands Americans every single year)?? Did you stop living your life when the media modestly reported on the H1N1 virus (to protect the Obama admin) ?? I bet the answer to both are no! So I ask you why the double standard by the media? It’s obvious, open your eyes snowflake.
  15. Danielson, sometimes what heart know head forget.
  16. Flat out lie. Research properly before commenting.
  17. Good read fellas, but all of you are biased toward your team and give no real analysis. Watched all A games last year and all of today’s games and here is an unbiased look at it. GC benefited from a brawl last year between Loretto/Greenfield. I think all can agree on that. They earned it but the draw helped them tremendously. GC is no where near as good this year and the other 2 are better than last year. If Greenfield or Loretto played GC 10x this year, GC would lose all 10. If Loretto and Greenfield played 10x this year (5 home games each) they would each win 5. Which makes the tournament suspension even more frustrating. The draw was perfect and it was setup to be an epic game that literally no one knows who would have won. Not even MrMiyagi could predict this winner.
  18. In 2009 under Obama. The first cases of the swine flu, H1N1, appeared in April 2009. By the time Obama finally declared a national emergency that fall, the CDC reported that 50 million Americans, one in six people, had been infected and 10,000 Americans had died.In the early months of the disease, Obama had no secretary of health and human services or appointees in any of the department’s 19 key posts. No commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, no surgeon general, no CDC director. The vacancy at the CDC was especially important, as in the early days of the crisis, only they could test for the virus; states weren’t allowed until later. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, not a medical doctor, led the federal effort. Sound familiar? The first real H1N1 cases appeared in Mexico, though Mexicans were never forbidden to enter the U.S. And while the CDC recommended against travel there, the primary danger cited was kidnapping for ransom. Some 66 percent of Americans, supported by the media, thought the president was protecting them even as 4,000 Americans died before a vaccine was even distributed. The emergency proclamation it took Obama seven months to declare was issued by Trump within 30 days of the coronavirus being found abroad. He announced a temporary suspension of entry into the U.S. of foreign nationals who posed a risk for transmission (CNN warned: “the travel ban could stigmatize countries and ethnicities”). And yes, Trump encouraged everyone to wash their hands.Anybody here remember the media freaking out over Obama’s initial response, which was also to suggest everyone wash their hands? Anyone find evidence of national panic? No. So why did the media cover essentially an identical story so very differently?
  19. TSSAA TOURNAMENT SUSPENDED Following the conclusion of the girls’ state basketball tournament quarterfinal round today, we are suspending the remainder of the girls’ state tournament and next week’s boys’ state tournament. Whether we will be able to reschedule these events will depend on the length of the suspension and the availability of facilities. We intended to conduct the tournaments with restricted attendance as we announced earlier. However, today has seen the suspension or cancellation of championship events by the NCAA and multiple collegiate conferences including the SEC tournament that was being played nearby; the suspension of regular season play in the NBA and the NHL; the closure of university campuses and of several Tennessee public school systems; and the suspension or cancellation of high school championships in multiple other states. COVID-19 is a public health threat, a threat to our student-athletes and our school communities. With the actions being taken all around us, including the action of our host university MTSU in sending all students away from campus, we believe it would be irresponsible and contrary to the public interest for us to continue our tournaments at this time and risk contributing to the spread of the virus. We will provide further updates as this pandemic evolves, including updates on whether we will be able to reschedule these tournaments.

  21. TSSAA tournaments suspended BlueCross Basketball Championships postponed due to COVID-19 March 12, 2020
  22. Charity Stripe game, refs were bad but GC took advantage. Pickett County 13-19 (68.4%) Gibson County 25-28 (89.3%)
  23. You should be mad. The politicization of this situation is pathetic. Everyone needs to think about where this virus started and where America gets the overwhelming majority of their products. You are telling people they can’t go watch their team play ball but it’s ok to rush to your local Wal-Mart and wade through that pack of morons to pick up whatever it is you need that was made in freaking CHINA and may or may not have the virus in it or on it.
  24. Gold Ball Inscription has begun, a few letters are on the ball as of now. give me an L - yes give me an E - yes All I got right now.
  25. As MrMiyag’s great grandfather (happens to be from China) once told. ”If frogs had a glass arse, they wouldn’t jump but once” One could get this pumping gas, buying groceries, doing just about anything you dumb Americans do daily. TSSAA is being politically correct to make themselves look good with the media. That’s it.
