Mcminn wins this because their D is very talented. Upfront they can handle CC. The secondary is very athletic and will have 3 picks. CC can score, but they really never stop people.

Tough situation for anyone to walk in to. They had to overcome adversity that was laid by the last group of coaches. The one thing that has been seen on their social media is that they have revamped facilities, new locker room, new weight room, and all new staff. It will take a couple years... usually getting the seniors out will help. They will start getting their system with kids that only have the habits the staff want. The answer to building a new school is not smart! They would both be small schools with the same kids. The numbers have already dropped quite a bit, and doesnt seem that they are getting an influx of people move in. With all that being said....Yes 0-10 is on the new staff.....the other losses are on the other guys. I would be willing to say that they win multiple games next season. Potentially 4 and could sneak in as a 4 seed with new region alignments

Love this, I think that Moody is doing a great job there. The one thing that he is doing that hasnt been done before is making people notice football. He is a good coach and a good fella too. I do think the one thing they should do is drop the McMinn Game. That would set them up for more success in the future, bc lots of people put all their hopes in that one game and when they do not win....a lot of people shut it down

I believe that overcoming what the previous staff and admin had done made it a tough tough job. His willingness to come out with the same kids and actually be competitive was a good job. The kids will now have a full year under new leadership in the building and the football field. Setting schedules and having an off season will help as well. Too many obstacles year 1 to overcome, but I would say with the staff they have now they will do some really good things. Seems that their numbers were way up and the schemes were something that were something that they are invested in. Now with that being said, I know that he is a good coach and wants to build something there....but if a job calls that entices him he may go.

I agree, I think that the community coming together is huge right now! I am an outsider and only see what the news and social media show, but its tough to have people looking down on your community like this!

From all the media they have gotten lately...negative for sure. I think they hire they make doesn't have to have such a pedigree that shows that he is coming from this place or that place, he has to come in and make a positive impact. The guy has to be a strong example and be one that hold the players to a higher standard that then makes the same impact on the school. Its a dark time in society and its so difficult for people to understand that lots of the things happening are not just isolated to a certain school. All schools are having things like this, maybe not as extreme, but its not perfect anywhere.

I agree with everything that you said, Bobby is a great fella. He is doing well at Sweetwater and I am 100% that if he wanted the job it would be his! He is a fantastic fella.

Looking around at what others have said about this job, it seems LC is going to do something that screams terrible when they make this hire. Anyone know anything about how they are vetting candidates, who they are looking at?
