Portland does seem down. They lost their setter, libero, and main outside, which all 3 along with the big returning middle was the nucleus of the team. Nothing got past the libero. Outside was smart on the court. All 4 played defense well together. No tournament appearances either, so how are they really? Young and inexperienced? Really thought they would at least pull out a state appearance though. Maybe, they will figure it out.

Portland always have lots of injuries in the beginning. They looked solid at the Brentwood Playday and the all-day scrimmage before that. They have 4 returning starters the setter, libero, and 2 pins.
