14 years ago Mckenzie made the trip to Murfeesboro and fell short but now it’s time for some revenge. We’ve had many years of coming close and now we’ve finally kicked the door down. Mckenzie is gonna have to show up ready to play Friday. Hit em in the mouth from the get go. All gas no brakes. Comer will have them well prepared no doubt. The hopes and dreams of an entire town are riding on the Rebels shoulders.

I believe Mckenzie should win the region with ease. But also like you mentioned Dresden is probably the only team that will give the Rebels a competition. But it’s still too early too tell.

I hope to see a pretty good and close ball game Friday. If Mckenzie can win this game I will shake each player and coaches hand. If they can win Friday night against the Tide then I wouldn’t be surprised to see them playing in the semi finals or even state.

Mckenzie is ready! 2 more practices untill it’s show time. Here in Mckenzie I’ve missed this feeling of being in the playoffs. Either way the game goes I’ll be proud of the Rebels this year. They’ve played a bunch of young guys this year and they did pretty good. The future is going to be bright for the Rebels. Let’s go get us a win Friday like I know we can.

From what I’ve seen on some of there film from this season Mitchell likes to throw the ball quite a bit. There qb did a lot of scrambling and if he finds a lane you better have your running shoes on if your going to catch him. There line is pretty big but didn’t look like to do much hitting they just stood straight up and blocked. There tailback has some wheels also but if we can contain the outside make him run inside then we can stop him all night with the way there line blocks. Defensively didn’t see anything yet on them. Rebels will just have to come out ready to play. It’s high school football anything can happen!

My son Gage says he’s ready! Hope we can pull off a win Friday and go deep into the playoffs. They just have to come out with the mindset that they’re going to win and no one will stop them or get in there way. It’s going to be a big challenge but them Rebs are up for it and won’t go down without a fight. Wade Comer will have those boys ready!!!

I’m not looking forward to going down that way either, except for maybe some good bbq.

Final game of the regular season for high school football. Mckenzie takes on the Adamsville Cardinals! From what I know if Mckenzie pulls out a win they will have home field advantage and most likely play Memphis Mitchell and of Adamsville wins Mckenzie will have to travel to Memphis Fairley. If they win they will finish 3rd in the region and go on to 5&5 on the season.

Mckenzie! I think Mckenzie should consider passing a little more this week. They seem to have a lot of success throwing the ball. Don’t get me wrong they have some speed running but Jarrett can throw that ball and they have guys that can make catches.

If If anyone is wonder the Rebels are tearing the tigers up. Rebels lead 27-0 in the 2nd qr.

The 1-2 Rebels celebrate homecoming this week and host the Halls Tigers Friday night. Mckenzie coming off a big loss 2 weeks ago at Peabody will be looking to redeem themselves this week. They’ve had an extra week this past week to get guys healthy and things cleaned up. Good news for the Rebels they will have there running back Micha Austin back this week and middle linebacker Jordan Barnhart. The rebels need to stay focused this week and come out and play smash mouth football all night long from the first whistle to the last. I’m ready for a Rebel win.

Not to familiar with the town of Trenton but anytime we play there I’ve always ate at Crenshaw’s Catfish Cookers that’s if your like fish and it’s pretty good. One thing to remember don’t get caught going over 31 lol

Any given Friday night man. It’s high school football anything can happen. 2 years ago Peabody thought they were gonna come in and blow Mckenzie out of the water with the season Mckenzie was having but ended up being the upset of the week so I wouldn’t mark them off so early. But I’m expecting a good ball game either way.

All I gotta say is better not overlook Mckenzie. Mckenzie improved a lot from 2 weeks ago and they’re gonna get better this week. Plus with this being a region game I believe Comer will have those boys ready to play this week. They’re hungry for a spot in the playoffs.
