The Pan is very injured after being physically dominated by suck creek and I expect it to be a quick night after halftime if tellico doesn’t win by however much they want it says something about them this year. This year just doesn’t look like how the historical physical basin teams of the past always were. Previous teams motto’s being “They might win but they will pay for it” Sad to see traditions going away.

I think Suck Creek gets their first region win this season over THE mighty cougs. 42-21 this year should only get worse in the Pan but maybe they will squeak a win out over North Georgia but I doubt it.

Just got home from the Maryville Alcoa game and it was great I see Murphy won 34-28 so props to y’all I honestly thought that pitt would be able to use their speed to win and looking back the only time the get in trouble is when someone drives it down their throat. From what I have read on here it sounds like that’s what happened, south pitt was undisciplined, coaching weren’t good, and the atmosphere they feed off wasn’t there. I want to get on YouTube and watch this game but it sounds like a good football game south pitt has been down for a while and they won state last year when I was saying they weren’t good and McKenzie would beat them. I eat my words tonight Murphy won I just wish they had been playing when both had their old coaches and the teams were in their prime.

In other news we didn’t have a thread this week but the Cougars are traveling to North Cobb Christian today. Going against the number 4 center in the nation and 5 D1 recruits will be a tough challenge if everyone would say a quick prayer for this funeral I know the boys would appreciate that. I am sticking to my 42-14 prediction for this game give or take a score for both teams. South Pitt will be sounding like the Civil War with their cannon tonight and sadly I will be in Maryville tonight but best of luck and safe travels to all teams and my fellow posters.

Well he is at least offered and my point is historically 1A Tn overall is has better teams and athletes. It’s not like Tn is a cakewalk or ever has been and I’m not saying NC is I just dont think overall they are better. Specifically the SMC hasn’t had to play the other half of 1A with the better teams.

Well I have come to the realization that NC is very sawft because I made 4 posts and got put in NC Preps jail without saying any derogatory remarks.

It’s not the kids fault they’re all good kids and going to be good young men they have just been put in a tough position this year. The impact of that might be the loss of the program and that would hurt a lot all because the way things were handled without consideration of the kids except by a few.

Listen I am from the basin but I am realistic we might have the worst team in tennessee this year and will most likely go 0-10 and I have thought that before the year started and it’s not like I’ve said anything different. Murphy players themselves have told me they are worried and that’s where I got that from. I have watched Murphy play all my life and they have had some good teams but remember they dont play the best 1a teams because 1a has been split into the upper tier and lower tier in NC and they play with the bottom tier. Murphy is historically good but mark my words they dont have what it takes to compete this year with pitt. If I am wrong then south pitt must be having a very down year.

Whitwell has a good young team 15 is a very good backer and of course he is a Nunley. 14-0 Whitwell 2 minutes left in the first.

I honestly don’t think they allow 14 and if they do that just says something about whitwell because the final should realistically be around 56-0 for how talented this whitwell team is. With it being in the Copper Pan maybe basin scores 8 late or against the backups in their heavy set where they run straight down your throat hopefully in practice this week more snaps are taken though. I think the players and community are getting restless though hopefully the program is at least maintained. Prayers would seriously be appreciated.

I think whitwell is the number 2 team in the district this year and competes for number 1 should win Friday by as many as they want and if anything different happens I will be surprised

Polk was rough one last night I’m just glad we can field a team for another week. DD was very nice and respectful surprisingly pulling the starters in the 3rd. With that being said this week a new challenge arises with an unfamiliar foe that has a running back that runs a legit 4.5 40. You think I’m joking but I’m not. I watched Chatt preps first game ever and 3 tds got called back. Their offense cannot drive the ball but they have a lot of big time plays from multiple athletes. This young team is also very athletic and gets after it on defense. I expect this to be a battle in the Pan and to be completely honest its a toss up who wins in my opinion.

Yeah this year is a down year on the numbers and next year will probably be worse hopefully the new staff figures it out

I think with DD being back this is a rough hard nose game 35-7 Polk and they carry on to have a better year this year that McWilliams kid #12 is their best player and should help more on defense this year
