A trip to the State is on the line as the Eagles travel to White House to take on the Patriots. I know East Nashville Won the State last year, but not sure what their team has this year. Obviously, they are good to be in this Sectional game. Who are their star players? What type of game do they play? This is only the 2nd time Heritage has been to the Sectionals and they have never been to the State Tournament. The Patriots have really put it together since the start of the District Tournament. The Patriots have played well on both ends of the floor and have played complimentary basketball. Looking forward to the game tomorrow night!

I was at the game! Key term is *IF.* Heritage played solid D with the exception of the 2 BIG runs given up in the 4th Quarter. The Patriots left some points out there as well. Or did you not watch the same game as me?

Looking forward to tonight’s Region Championship Game! Like I said before, Coach Murray and his Staff deserve a ton of credit getting Heritage to this point. The Patriots were 1-9 under the previous HC. Now, with a chance to play for the #1 Seed, is a BIG deal! I’m glad at the very least Heritage will get a Home Playoff Game. I don’t know much about Fairview’s Defense, but I do know X Murray is a good QB and the Patriots should put some points up. Remember, Xavier is only a Freshman. Hopefully, Heritage can get some stops Defensively. I’ll be there cheering on the Patriots!

That Week 11 game between Heritage & Fairview should be a good one. I’m looking forward to it. Side note, the Stewart County radio guys are the best. I always enjoy when they come to Heritage. We have a good time in the press box.

Being a non Region game, I hope both teams can come out healthy. I’ve watched Greenbrier this season, it was in their only Win against Whites Creek. Heritage should have a big crowd Friday night, I expect it to be a fun atmosphere.

I’m an old Bobcat and I know Greenbrier is in an extremely tough Region. Still, games are Won and Lost in the trenches. In today’s game, I don’t see guys firing off the ball and beating their man in front of them. Low man Wins! Whether that’s Greenbrier or whoever, a lot of teams play finesse football. I miss the old school smash mouth football. I’ll post it separately, but what do y’all think of Greenbrier vs Heritage on Friday night?

Sycamore is better than their now 0-6 record. The future is bright for Heritage. The Patriots have a young team with only 8 Seniors I believe.

Just call them Heritage. The Patriots don’t like to be associated with the Blue Devils. Lol.

Heritage runs a Spread Offense and the HC’s son Xavier Murray is the QB. He does a good job considering he is only a Freshman. Not elusive, but he move around in and outside the pocket. He is athletic and can make the throws. Heritage is a relatively young team that plays a ton of Underclassemen on both sides of the ball. The Patriots have a good stretch of football ahead of them. Defensively, Heritage is an opportunistic Defense. They are not big up front, but make plays when they need to. In 2022, the Defense was an Achilles Heel. It’s much improved in 2023.

Heritage had some mental mistakes and they didn’t look completely focused. It was Homecoming week. I believe better football is ahead. It could come down to a 3 way race between Fairview, Sycamore, and Heritage. Anyone know anything about Forrest? That’s who the Patriots have Friday night.

It wasn’t pretty, but Heritage Won 21-14. The game was sloppy. I beat both teams combined for 200 plus yards in penalties. The officials were flag happy.

Thanks Commish! Stability is the biggest thing needed at Heritage. Coach Murray is the 3rd HC in 3 years. I hope he sticks around. He looks, talks, and acts like a football coach. Bonus: He’s a Follower of Christ.

East Robertson is legit! All 3 boys sports are pretty good right now in Cross Plains. Baseball & Basketball has Won State Championships in recent years.

The fact that White House Heritage getting votes is impressive. Heritage was a 1 Win team last season. Coach Murray is changing the culture for good.
