It does appear that Gibbs finishes strong. Even with Central battling some injuries, I imagine they’ll still be a tough team. I’m curious though, did graduation hit them hard last year? I know they were tough as heck last year, just not sure if they were heavy on seniors.

Does it hurt that bad to have crashed like you have? After we beat you and the officials on that cold night, Crockett was broken. Crockett’s players and coaches are extremely undisciplined and that has shown recently, because you hadn’t played anyone. You blamed the officials for Boone kicking that crack too. I’m guessing Mo East must’ve gotten help from the officials to complete this conspiracy to take down your team....? We very well could go down early because we’ll be playing one of, if not the best team in 5A after they dispose of you. However, we’ll be competing and in the mix to win. It’s nuts to argue over high school sports because to be quite honest, it’s borderline pathetic. However, I’ve seen the subtle shots you’ve taken during your tantrums of getting soundly beaten, so I felt I should stoop down to just school you once more. I’m finished now. Your next comment should be congratulating Morristown East for beating you because they’re a classy team. Now that I have that behind me, how are the other teams in R2 looking this year? I’m not familiar with Halls, Gibbs, etc. are the seedings in the region spot on, or did some surprise games alter the seedings?

Crockett will go down just based upon who they’re playing and now they’ve been revealed over the last 3 weeks. They were highly overrated coming into this season and that’s now been exposed. Boone seems to be playing much better despite having Cole injured, but I’m not sure what’s coming out of Knox County this year. Tennessee High is playing very well, but our depth is a concern. We can compete if we stay healthy. However, the notion that R1 teams can’t beat teams from R2 and beyond is crazy. THS beat Knox Central and South Doyle last year, and we’re a better team this year. We can definitely compete. Should be a fun post season for all

There are some talented teams all over Tennessee. I wouldn’t forget that despite some poor coaching on TN High’s part, they beat Central and South Doyle last year. TN High is light years ahead of where they were last year. If they stay healthy, I think we’re going to surprise some folks

This is hilarious. We shot ourselves in the foot multiple times, fought off BS calls that went Crockett’s way, dealt with the timekeeper’s BS and still won. Sometimes you just have to accept you were beaten by a better team. THS did so last year. We’re a good team with a line half the size of the Crockett line and dominated the line of scrimmage. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but THS won the game outright. Even with the extra opportunities the refs and timekeeper gave you. Move onto the playoffs and work your way back into the mix.

These two teams matched up well, I figured they would. I saw flags going against both teams that were more than questionable. Not sure the TSSAA would even care, but should be made aware. Proud of our defense. Our D line responded well and our linebackers did their jobs and made some big plays. I’ll be honest, I was surprised by the size of Crockett’s skill players. Either my memory is bad from seeing them last year, or they’ve gotten quite a bit bigger over the past year As for our offense, we try not to put too much pressure on our OC, too many plays would blow his mind. We were having success running off tackle yet we continued running our QB up the middle in the fourth. It’s only a matter of time before we get him hurt doing that. Play calling has been and will continue to be a problem here.

THS 28, Crockett 21. Great game, horrible officiating. Crockett has some good athletes but incredibly undisciplined. It’ll be an issue again if the coach doesn’t get it under control.
