I haven't heard any names . Have you.?I was told March 1st they'd have a coach. Don't know if that's true or not.

I just believe they were in a position to not have to settle for mediocrity. Just my opinion. But I hope he does a great job.

He was already AD. I'm just thinking he was just ready to quit coaching. IMO some coach is stepping into a great job.

Gotcha. I knew several had left McNairy county for Chester and heard it was better teacher pay . It's a shame educators don't make more than they do.

Just out of curiosity do you know off hand the difference in pay between Henderson County and Hardin County?

Jerry will never relinquish control enough. Been telling a friend of mine for years that the biggest problem the cowboys have is JERRY JONES! I give up on them a few years ago now. All they are now is Stephen A Smiths punching bag.

He has been made interim head coach while the search starts for a new head coach. I would assume it would be a possibility but I really hope they look at all possible candidates and get this hire right. Staying in house is not always the way to go imo and that's not a knock against any coach currently on staff. I believe there should and will be a lot of interest in this job. Some coach wil be inheriting a solid football program in Savannah.

They definitely got a lot of shoes to fill. Losing 20 plus seniors for the third year in a row and a lot of talent. Anytime you know you'll have a new QB taking his first meaningful snaps in a HS game you can't fully know what to expect.

Agree with all of this.especially the control part. Want a good coach got to completely turn the program over to him.

I heard this was possibly gonna happen but was hoping it wouldn't TBH. Should be a lot of interest in this job imo. Had not heard this yet. Did this come out today?
