QB has taken it to another level this year. Happy to see all his hard work paying off. Nice to have a legit kicking game too. Hope we can keep it rolling into district play next week. Saw a lot of Wayne Co folks at the game tonight.

Webb is not playing football. Not sure how LC will play without him. They have a good sophomore RB Davis. Not sure they have much else. what kind of team does Giles have this year?

We (Fayetteville) had a couple of starters out due to injury in our scrimmage. I think we will be missing a lineman. Still looked good but got some things we need to improve on.

Wow. That’s unfortunate because I think that 4th playoff spot is up for grabs.

Where are these players going?

I think Richland is looking for 1 more girls teams for after Christmas tournament.

I feel like there are playoff spots available if y’all have a good team. There is a lot of unknown in this region after Page and Nolensville.

Marion Co was the better team in week 1. MC did have a lightning fast RB. We did a lot of growing up and getting better between week 1 and title game. I think we were playing our best at the end. You are right about RB getting hurt in the semis. He is a really tough guy. I think he dressed and tried to play in the title game, but he was still hurt.

We lost 20+ seniors from the 2019 team and most of the starters for 2020 saw their first varsity action ever against Marion. We were missing 7 starters against Gordy. No argument for the Huntland games. Also, KJ is great but we are not a 1 player team. Lots of other guys made big plays for us all year including title game. We have 2 other RBs that I would consider elite and closed out the Moore Co and Lake Co playoff games for us.

1) Page 2) Nolensville 3-7 is up for grabs. Franklin Co - Can they take the next step under this coaching staff? Are they eligible to make playoffs after suspension for Shelbyville brawl? Columbia - I would have given them the 3 spot before all the coaching turnover this month. Not sure what’s going on at Columbia. Lincoln Co - If Webb is playing, they can contend for the 2 spot. If not, they will be fighting to make the playoffs. Spring Hill - Adding coaches doesn’t overcome lack of talent. They almost lost to Richland last year. They will likely finish last.

I don’t know what fan base everyone on here belongs to but I would bet if we went back and looked at that thread the vast majority of posters were calling for a big SP victory. Regardless of predictions, it was a great game. I’ll never forget standing in the rain and watching 2 great teams battle. I assume SP will cake walk back to the championship game while Fayetteville will have a tough road with McKenzie, Peabody and Lake Co in the west.

Fayetteville and Peabody also have strong schedules. 8 of Fayetteville’s 10 games are against teams listed in the top 15s in Friday Night Main Event’s polls. So you are right…reg season polls might have several schools with soft schedules and easy wins. But I’ll trade reg season wins for postseason wins every day.
