Here is my guesses for East Tennessee: A District 1: Cloudland, University School, Unaka, North Greene, Hampton A District 2: TN School for the Deaf, Washburn, Hancock County, Jellico, Cosby, Halls AA District 1 Happy Valley, South Greene, Chuckey-Doak, West Greene, Johnson County AA District 2: Cumberland Gap, Gatlinburg-Pittman, Pigeon Forge, Alcoa, Union Co AAA District 1: Unicoi County, Elizabethton, Sullivan East, Greeneville, Tennessee High AAA District 2: Claiborne, Northview, Grainger, Volunteer, Cherokee, Cocke County AAAA District 1: D Crockett, D Boone, West Ridge, Science Hill, Dobyns Bennett AAAA District 2: Sevier County, Mo-East, Mo-West, Jefferson County, Knox Powell, Knox Central Like I said it is only my guess....

I can only speak to the area I am intimately familar with....Happy Valley will be grouped with Chuckey Doak, Johnson County, etc based on geography. No way they will drive past the Greene Co schools to play in Union, Cumberland Gap, etc.

I will take a shot at guessing it (but I am less sure than I am of District 1): Cumberland Gap HS Gatlinburg Pittman HS Pigeon Forge HS Union County HS Alcoa HS But if the TSSAA wants to keep Regions in the ten team range, Alcoa could easily be grouped with Kingston, Loudon, etc. Just my guess.

You are right, I think all the Greene Co schools: Chuckey-Doak, South Greene and West Greene (except North Greene will be A) will be together with Happy Valley and Johnson County. Hampton is right on the edge and if they are AA, they would be in that group. Districts should average out to slightly over 5 (329/4 = 82.25 per class and 82/16 districts is 5.125 teams per district) or 10 teams per Region.

With 329 schools (my estimate) I would expect the cuts to be: A 1-82 (378 students) AA 83-164 (689 students) AAA 165-245 (1209 students) AAA 245-329 Just my guess....
