So with what went down in Farragut game, the winner of DB/Sh may get automatic pass to state....watched video will be a shame if Farragut does not get to play, though.

I agree , was not as bad as what people made it out to be. Feel like 12 from Farragut more for coming back at the coaches after everything was separated should be held accountable(ejected, suspended). Kid that threw him to the ground should have been ejected, too. Will be sad if Farragut's season ends on this game. I dont feel that they should have suspended game.

Great win by Db and great game to watch. Congrats to East on a great season. Sevier had their chances to beat Science Hill without one of their best players, was a great game, too. Congrats to SH and DB and good luck in the substate games.

I agree, think DB & East were both good enough to make state. Like I've said before hate they are playing tomorrow instead of Thursday.

One question, though? After the really bad 1st round games do you think moving forward maybe just the winners and runner ups in the districts make it to region? I know financially it wont happen, but looked like across the state there is obviously a big difference after the 1st 2 in each district.

I agree, tomorrow night will be a great night of basketball between 4 very good teams, with any of them capable of winning the region. Heard Db got off to a slow start, they will be ready tomorrow. East must have been crazy with their shooting Sat night. West Ridge is a team that I just couldn't figure out. They shouldn't have lost to anybody by 25+ points in the region.

Regionals set who you got? science hill/ west .......... science hill vs sevier sevier in minor upset sevier /daniel boone........... sevier motown east/ west ridge motown east east over db east /sevier db/jeff co db motown east wins region sevier runner up I changed my mind a little think Sevier will give Science Hill fits but was impressed with way Cutlip got his players to buy in against DB... will be a tight game Think East still not playing as good as they were but honestly watched Db/Science Hill and was amazed at how Db looked like a team of individuals and especially how they played that last 4 minutes. Very bad basketball on their part, in my opinion and they still should have won. This game can go either way, but think East wins as this is the 1st time they have truly been on a neutral court since Ilic/Simpson have been in HS in tourney. Still hate these 2 teams are meeting in Semis

Agree, doesnt matter what you did up to this point. Congrats to Science Hill on a huge win. Them and Sevier will battle it out. Coaching will decide that game, teams are pretty equal.

I still thin DB, East, Science Hill & Sevier playing in Semis Science Hill vs Sevier will be an ugly game to watch between 2 very good teams peaking at the right time. Db/East could be a classic between 2 great teams if they play like they were earlier. Either way one of them is going home very disappointed to their season ending the way it did. no matter who wins those games, none will be an upset

So what was difference in Db game tonight? Sevier should have beat East, too. Ken Wright had everything working, East played horrible, but credit to Sevier. Collins got outcoached badly. I guess will see which coach screws up the worst....if both make it to semifinals.

I hope Db & East win their districts and dont have to face each other before the championship for the 1st time in many years. Not saying East rolls over Science Hill or anything, will be a good game, but whoever wins that district providing East wins this one up here has a whole lot easier road to the the regional championship. I think West Ridge beats Daniel Boone in consolation game And Db beats Science Hill in Championship. East should win and beat Sevier with I think Jeff beating West in Consolation No matter how it shakes out I still think Science Hill and East in one Semi final and DB against Sevier in the other. West ridge could give Sevier some trouble if it was a neutral court, but going to Sevier will be a tough one for them. Both of those teams play a lot better at home. Should be a fun 2 weeks of ball for the fans and the kids.

East handles Farragut, was never really close. Farragut never got any closer than final score after falling behind by 20 for most of 1st half. East played alot better than they had been. Saw some of the play that has plaqued them the 2nd half of season in the 2nd half of this one. Db beats West Ridge by double figures Thursday night
