So with what went down in Farragut game, the winner of DB/Sh may get automatic pass to state....watched video will be a shame if Farragut does not get to play, though.

I agree , was not as bad as what people made it out to be. Feel like 12 from Farragut more for coming back at the coaches after everything was separated should be held accountable(ejected, suspended). Kid that threw him to the ground should have been ejected, too. Will be sad if Farragut's season ends on this game. I dont feel that they should have suspended game.

Great win by Db and great game to watch. Congrats to East on a great season. Sevier had their chances to beat Science Hill without one of their best players, was a great game, too. Congrats to SH and DB and good luck in the substate games.

I agree, think DB & East were both good enough to make state. Like I've said before hate they are playing tomorrow instead of Thursday.

One question, though? After the really bad 1st round games do you think moving forward maybe just the winners and runner ups in the districts make it to region? I know financially it wont happen, but looked like across the state there is obviously a big difference after the 1st 2 in each district.

I agree, tomorrow night will be a great night of basketball between 4 very good teams, with any of them capable of winning the region. Heard Db got off to a slow start, they will be ready tomorrow. East must have been crazy with their shooting Sat night. West Ridge is a team that I just couldn't figure out. They shouldn't have lost to anybody by 25+ points in the region.

Regionals set who you got? science hill/ west .......... science hill vs sevier sevier in minor upset sevier /daniel boone........... sevier motown east/ west ridge motown east east over db east /sevier db/jeff co db motown east wins region sevier runner up I changed my mind a little think Sevier will give Science Hill fits but was impressed with way Cutlip got his players to buy in against DB... will be a tight game Think East still not playing as good as they were but honestly watched Db/Science Hill and was amazed at how Db looked like a team of individuals and especially how they played that last 4 minutes. Very bad basketball on their part, in my opinion and they still should have won. This game can go either way, but think East wins as this is the 1st time they have truly been on a neutral court since Ilic/Simpson have been in HS in tourney. Still hate these 2 teams are meeting in Semis

Agree, doesnt matter what you did up to this point. Congrats to Science Hill on a huge win. Them and Sevier will battle it out. Coaching will decide that game, teams are pretty equal.

I still thin DB, East, Science Hill & Sevier playing in Semis Science Hill vs Sevier will be an ugly game to watch between 2 very good teams peaking at the right time. Db/East could be a classic between 2 great teams if they play like they were earlier. Either way one of them is going home very disappointed to their season ending the way it did. no matter who wins those games, none will be an upset

So what was difference in Db game tonight? Sevier should have beat East, too. Ken Wright had everything working, East played horrible, but credit to Sevier. Collins got outcoached badly. I guess will see which coach screws up the worst....if both make it to semifinals.

I hope Db & East win their districts and dont have to face each other before the championship for the 1st time in many years. Not saying East rolls over Science Hill or anything, will be a good game, but whoever wins that district providing East wins this one up here has a whole lot easier road to the the regional championship. I think West Ridge beats Daniel Boone in consolation game And Db beats Science Hill in Championship. East should win and beat Sevier with I think Jeff beating West in Consolation No matter how it shakes out I still think Science Hill and East in one Semi final and DB against Sevier in the other. West ridge could give Sevier some trouble if it was a neutral court, but going to Sevier will be a tough one for them. Both of those teams play a lot better at home. Should be a fun 2 weeks of ball for the fans and the kids.

East handles Farragut, was never really close. Farragut never got any closer than final score after falling behind by 20 for most of 1st half. East played alot better than they had been. Saw some of the play that has plaqued them the 2nd half of season in the 2nd half of this one. Db beats West Ridge by double figures Thursday night

i agree, think West Ridge wins tonight. Farragut comes to Morristown, guess will see if East has fallen off or not since their last meeting. Jeff/Sevier enough said, lol

I know this is Oak Ridge room, but how do you see the Region playing out? I dont think you get challenged in your district. I think it comes down to Oak Ridge, Farragut & Bearden. East/ Farragut game tonight should be a good one.

I saw that, too. Great night for Jeff County!!! Just goes to show you, gotta show up every night. I had seen where people where saying East & Sevier where co champions before last night. East ends up as Champion. I think this district will play out as its supposed, too. I honestly dont see how Jeff beat Sevier, my 1st question was did anybody not play...all their players did. Also heard Sevier had a starter get 2 technicals and will be out for District.

I was at Gville game last night. I thought was a good game and didnt think East played bad. Having Dabbs out allowed Kobi to have the ball in his hands the whole game and he controlled/dominated the game. Satterfield was exceptional, too. Simpson played good hard defense on Kobi and played alot better against him this time. Cloninger is really stepping up. Ilic was unstoppable 1st quarter but dissappeared some after that. Heard he was sick and hadnt practiced all week. Gville is tourney ready. East played better but to me just seem like there a little out of sync. I personally cant see there being a better Hs player than Kobi right now in TN. Not saying hes better or will be better than anybody ranked above him and not talking about playing in college. But right now I'd take him over just about anybody.

i personally think Db is going to State. Depth to 8 deep with not much droppff if any and one of the best in business coaching them. East has stuggled some lately but still think them and Db come out here. At Jeff and if they stay out of foul troble East can beat Db. if East wins region i think Db and East go. if east travels for substate prob 50/50 for them i know Beaden gets most of press down there but nobody wants to play Farragut at Farragut. Hope Bearden wins that region and our 2 east tn teams have a chance to go. i honestly havent seen Oak Ridge so its hard to comment on them. Obviously they are capable. EAST plays Farragut , Monday. Thats interesting to me

6 of top 10 in 4a are Region 1 & 2 teams. I know thats not right but still great for our kids and coaches and fans in E. Tn, Gville/East looks like best game on schedule for tonight. Should be fun when tourneys start next week. Region 1 DB East SH Sevier are still by far my top 4

Whats up with Morristown East? How do you beat a team in December by 40+ and lose to them by 10 last night. I've been hearing there are issues there since early January and starting to come to a head the last few games. Looks like DB has definitely moved to the best team in this region and might be interesting for the the other region finalist. Obviously SH and East not playing their best ball. Ken Wright and Sevier might sneak up on everbody again.

I think DB wins tonight. I didnt know Browder didnt score in 1st game, how is that possible. Is Metz playing tonight, hadnt heard why he didnt play other night. Will be a great atmosphere there.

If East, DB, SH and Sevier are not in semis of region there has been a big upset somewhere
