Since 2002.. Gibson holds a 38-33 advantage over Westview in the seasons. Fact check me on that. Because I know it’s 100%. I wouldn’t say Gibson Co is bothered or scared of that jersey. In fact, if memory serves me right.. in the 2015-2020ish years Gibson was considered single A with about 400 students while Westview was considered double A with about 600+ students. And some of those wins for Gibson (A) during that time were blowouts… to a AA team that was at the state tournament year after year. What’s that show ya… I guarantee you Gibson isn’t scared of anyone. They play ball and has it been mentioned, they play ball with their own kids. Not other schools.

How are teams in 2A looking? Gatlinburg? Mcminn without their seniors? How does York move on post Beaty? Gibson county? Westview? Memphis Business returned every one any team camps coming up?

Liberty Creek has an enrollment of 977 for this next enrollment period and they’re playing 2A sports … how does that even make sense? In 2022 they had enrollment of 582… so you’re telling me in less than 3 yrs they’ve almost doubled their enrollment … how the heck are they still in 2A?

If you’re familiar with west tn girls basketball then you already should know who and what players people are talking about… if I’m a coach I’d rather lose then go and pluck a kid from another school. What’s that say to your roster. That you don’t believe they’re good enough to win? Or that you’re not a good enough coach to coach them up and teach them the skills to be good. Relying on a player to come over just so you win a gold ball. There’s way more to life than a gold ball, obviously some coaches don’t see that. It’s small towns over here people talk and people aren’t dumb. They know exactly how the situation played out last year to get the SF girl and already know it’s happening again…

WV doesn’t win the gold ball without Gray…. So yeah I’m jawing.. because it’s not an every day occurrence a senior just magically decided to move and it just happen to be to a program needing one more person to get them to win the gold ball.. and a program that’s known around west tn. We all know she grew ip in south Fulton.. and the “timing” of the move isn’t a coincidence. 👍🏼 Tell me anything I’m not factual about.. and I’ll gladly accept. The fact is she moved because south Fulton wasn’t going to have a team or be good, she’s a senior, and she moved to a team on track to win a gold. Out of all other area schools she decided to move to it was WV.

He literally recruited her at last years state tournament.. it’s common knowledge. You can claim it’s because SF wasn’t going to even field a team. But, it’s still “persuading”/ recruiting getting a kid to move to a school for one year just to win a championship.
