From Track: I am seeing at 132 Kaden Rice from Cleveland in this first round had a DFF. Ranked 4th at 132 At 132 Sexton from Halls got pinned in the finals. At 175 Dylan Harrold beat #3 Jake Fox from Bradley in the Semis any other surprising results at sectionals?

It looks like DB beat SH 48-27 in the Region 1 AA duals Crockett won Region 1 A tonight, but not sure who got in second

Thanks for the rankings. Looks great. I think we heard on this board Mason Jakob from DB was transferring. Did that happen or is he still at DB?

I believe Iowa State has 2 All-Americans (one weight below him and one weight above him). It’s a good spot for him and the Big 12 is a good conference to be in. Brent Metcalf is also an assistant at ISU which will be a great addition for him. ISU is a great landing spot to be able to go to a great school and have a good shot at starting.

I was reading if Chittum could get in the line-up he will be a national qualifier and maybe an AA. This was a good move for him. He’s able to get on the mat and really have a shot at a starting spot.

Iowa and ISU are being investigated for their athletes gambling. I’m not sure how much of it will impact their wrestling teams though

I just read the Chittum’s have packed and left Iowa City.

I’ve seen that the issue is with Chittum and Ferrari both being at Iowa. Chittum would leave if the younger Ferrari brother came to Iowa. Not sure how true that is, but I’ve seen it out there.

DB also has 3 in the quarters

120 - Smalling beat ford

132 - rice beat posey in the conso semis

126 - Norman upset Heflin 4-2 in the conso semis

Add the 195 that went 0-2

And Justice was winning by 4-5 points before he pinned him.
