  1. You know that is going to be the plan - 2 run plays, 1 pass, TD
  2. He’s a senior with some nice offers on the plate
  3. He’s good no doubt, but all those specialty guys are good and he does more damage on kick off and punt return or on the outside so he’s like #3 in depth chart for tail back if he’s even on the list
  4. SMH - you need to lay off the Maroon koolaide
  5. You’re cracking me up, about spit my gum out reading that!
  6. BC, Are you really comparing Gary to Forrest? Sounds like it: “Run Forest Run” vs “Run Gary Run” - last year Alcoa has the best QB and receivers in TN, but what was the game plan, definitely not throw the ball. This year Alcoa is confused with 4 QBs and can’t make up its mind - got a great thrower, but seems like that doesn’t matter because it’s the same old same old.
  7. You say that now, but if they get what they want, outsiders coming in, do you think it stays a simple protest? The permit is for 3,500 and on FB they were talking about possible outsiders showing up. So yea, glad to live in a country where you can protest, but in today’s environment it’s not smart to allow it where kids are known for a fact to be present. So keep not worrying about it, but don’t whine if it’s more than a small protest if you don’t voice your concern before it happens. in regards to 12, Rankin doesn’t like to throw so expect him to get hand offs all night
  8. Yep - it’s like looking at your little brother who is feeling all big and bad and you smack them on the forehead. Yes, they have a machine but Rebs have a bigger machine, even with their recruiting tactics - I heard someone say they had their very own Larry H over there bringing them in by the truck load with promises of state rings
  9. Ok, Somebody is putting this in their head (new teachers/college professors??), if not an outsider then maybe their mommy’s and daddy’s should have raised them better - either way, if you let it gain traction the weeds will keep growing and that will be the new normal.
  10. I heard Alcoa is planning on a shut out this game, they sure do put a lot of weight on Nix and #1......yea, he’s quick and big and going to VT or something, but come on a shut out???
  11. That’s the problem with all these folks moving in from liberal areas like NY & CA, they don’t like what the built there so they move away, but instead of joining the community they try to change it to be like what they left behind - find out who the trouble makers are and run the off or make them uncomfortable - either way, as a community if you don’t bite it in the butt right off the back next thing you know you’re dealing with idiots changing what you love about E TN - just saying, as a community, stop the nonsense or enjoy your new normal.
  12. I heard we were shaking everything up with Rebel Defense - planning on same old Rankin play book, load the box and know Gary won’t throw
  13. According to FB “Blount County Showing up for Racial Justice” page they (The Coalition to Rename the Rebels) were asking about if BLM showing up, and in turn they eventually said to email them as they wouldn’t discuss over messenger, etc, just saying I can’t imagine 3,500 locals supporting it......
  14. So is it actually approved or just submitted for consideration? If it’s approved, there needs to be a head rolling contest at city hall! No way could anyone look at that and say their right to protest in that area out weighs the safety of kids! I get the right to peacefully protest, but it’s a permit, which means it can be approved or denied based on the circumstances and if this community doesn’t blow up city hall’s phone lines tomorrow and the rest of the week it will be a shame and prove people are all talk and no action - protect the kids, let them play! You want to protest the name, that’s great, but not on Friday night when everyone is showing up - that just causes a bigger problem and can turn peaceful protest into a fight, last I checked there some mama and papa bears in Maryville that will not tolerate people putting their cubs in danger
  15. Now back to what is important - a couple of us snuck over to Alcoa and were flying some drones as part of our little local drone club, let me tell you - not one running play to be seen - QBs throwing the ball all over the place, looked like Atlanta airport with as many flights that were in the air! Did I mention, they have an old Maryville boy that has springs in his cleats - saw him go 46” vertical to bring one down, craziest thing I ever saw!!!
